Food was very delicious and hot. I got the 4 piece fried chicken, mashed potatoes, greenbeans and side salad bc it was the special. The chicken was very fresh and tasted home cooked, mashed potatoes and gravy very good, greenbeans ok which they had a little more seasoning, side salad was big. I ate my salad, greenbeans and chicken legs and was very full took the rest home and had it for dinner the chicken was still very good cold and the mashed potatoes and gravy. Husband got chopped steak, fries, greenbeans and side salad they cooked his chopped steak just the way he asked very very well done, he said all his food was very good he cleaned his plate. Mother in law got big breakfast I think was the name. 2 eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, biscut and gravy and a side of toast was a lot of food she said her was very good and took some home as well because it was so much. Highly recommend going here. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Foods are always great but service has not been too good lately. Last time we visited, we were given cold soup, no straws, no water refills, and our server was a little short with us. We understand that it can get really busy during rush hour, but if we are expected to leave tips, maybe there could be a little better service. Still a very good restaurant but def can improve on service.

The food is good, prices are reasonable. The wait staff is very good!! Always friendly and fun! Atmosphere is standard diner, nothing special. There is plenty of light though, which helps, lots of booths too.

We will not be back to eat here. Our waitress never came to check on us, our drinks sat empty and our food was cold when we got it. I told the waitress when she finally came to give us our bill about how the food and service was, she never apologized just said well I was busy. We asked for a box but she didn’t come back with it. I went to the counter to get one and asked for the manager but was told he was not there. Our waitress came out and yelled at me that I can just leave. They were busy at first when we got there but even so she could have came by and checked on us. The place isn’t that big, I have been to bigger places where the wait staff had more tables and got better service. She is lucky she got a tip. Not going back there!

Food was bland and cold. Server was rude and didn’t do anything but take the order. As someone who was a server for many years, I understand places get busy during rush hours but the lack of service was ridiculous. No drink refills. Only two napkins the entire time with two small kids. I would have asked for more but she never came around for me to ask. When confronted about the service, instead of apologizing she immediately went into defense mode blaming everyone else and told us to “just get out and leave.”

We decided to try this local place out and I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was really nice and had great service. We go our food super fast and the portions we really big I got the breakfast skillet and could only eat half of it. Would definitely come here again for breakfast.
