Bartender was rude. Too busy flirting with locals. Drunk at the end of the bar must own it. Seems like more of a tiny members only club than a social place. Won’t be coming back.

Great place to stop riding the Harley! Enjoyed the weather sitting outside with friends under the covered patio! My only tiny complaint was that no one waited on us out there,had to keep going inside to get drinks. Otherwise a great place!

Over the last few years, there have been so many positive changes at the Franklin Tap! From the wall decor to the new floors, to the renovations behind the bar. We love coming in and being welcomed by all with a smile and a cold drink. The outdoor porch space is so nice, and the small stage allows for live music and fun nights under the stars. We love the Tap!

A friend and I went there this past Saturday night, (4/22/23), stood there 10 minutes waiting for service, got two bottled beers, was charged $8.00 a piece. First and last time going there! Very disappointed, had heard lots of good things about the place before.

Franklin Pub is a clean, small town bar. The owners name is Nancy and she’s a gem!!! If you’re on a run through the middle of Iowa stop in and grab a cold one.
