First visit. Midweek afternoon. Loved the atmosphere! Lighting and decorations very appealing. Service exceptional – Gage was on target and friendly energy. Food delicious, I enjoyed brussels sprouts appetizer with balsamic sauce. Oh my, so tasty! All sauces are home made. The brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly browned. Heavenly. I look forward to returning for a burger as the ones being served around me looked amazing. I highly recommend this pub.

Everything we had was delicious! The bayou burger was probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The Rajun Cajun chicken sandwich was super good! Cheese curds were also excellent. With great service!

We are in town visiting for the holidays and needed a guys get away, even if just for a few hours. So we happened upon the Franklin Street Tavern. Upon walking in,the atmosphere was nice and Alex, the bartender, greeted us like old friends. After taking a seat, drinks were ordered aplenty and we commenced to study the menu which isn’t very daunting but everything sounded good. I ordered the Italiana Smash burger which came highly recommend. It was done to perfection and tasted absolutely devine. Whilst we were enjoying our food, we happened to hear this friendly local who was wearing a seasoned camouflage jacket bellied up to the bar mention that he still had a PBR in his pocket. Who does that, lol. All and all our experience was one to remember plus I was able to share a beer with my son legally for the first time. Thanks for the great experience.

This place is small and hectic, but the food and cocktails are exceptional. I had the jalapeño smash burger the first time I was here and it was great. This time I tried the cajun chicken sandwich and that was equally as good. The kimchi loaded fries went so quick I didn’t even get a picture. I could have made a whole meal out of them. Fries were good, the pizza was great, and the cocktails were great. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and want to try some elevated bar food.

Not to be dramatic but I love this spot. The decor is cute, nostalgic, and welcoming. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Drinks are great, smaller selection than some places but it’s not a huge place— so it is respectable for its size. Let’s get to the food, the flavors are amazing! A mix of unexpected and flawless pairings. It is on the top of my favorites list in Janesville. The music is great, not your usual which I find refreshing and welcome. I will continue to visit as time allows and encourage all to give it a try. Quick bite, lunch, cocktails, something special— all on the checklist at this gem.

Cute atmosphere in a historic looking building. Menu had lots of options – from wings, pizza, burgers etc. Food was pretty good! Especially loved all the options for the fries! Only issue we had was one of our meals came out 15 minutes after the rest of our food. Would recommend though.

Our first time (and their first time serving!!) Franklin Street Tavern’s brunch menu. It was so good! Can’t wait to try it again!
We had the bibimbap breakfast burrito (10 out of 10!!!), chicken and waffles, breakfast burger, the bagel breakfast sandwich, and of COURSE the lemon mousse. I forgot to take a pic of the mousse, but as you can see….the jar is empty
Our ONLY recommendations were that the waffle and bagel needed to be cooked and toasted longer. And the hash brown seemed a little greasy. Literally though, very minor in comparison to how good everything was.

Cool space, great food, and tasty cocktails.
Cheese curds were fresh and hand battered to order – pretty darn good. We also had boneless wings – also made fresh in house and quite tasty.

Atmosphere was very comfortable and seating was enjoyable. Only like 8 tables though so not too big. Food was so good and menu was large enough to accommodate different taste buds. Unfortunately the Mac and cheese specials weren’t available but the kimchi fries were delicious. Would recommend to anybody nearby. Definitely one of our favorite spots moving forward!
