Me and the lovey just cruising the camaro came across this spot on Easter sunday. Driving by slowly the patrons outside invited us in. Of course me and my love had to check it out and glad we did.. patrons are great! Bar nice and clean. Cocktails Served in glassware. And YES!!! They had Gray goose vodka for my wife. She was drinking gray goose and cranberry I was drinking Jack Daniels and Coke. Drinks were made to our liking. Wifey says bartender was 5 stars and I couldn’t agree more. Bathrooms were clean. They had free food which was DELICIOUS . Potatoes were Fire .. as well as the ham and chocolate cake we had… YUMMY! We grabbed a to go frozen pizza made by a local pizza place they have brought in.. that was ok. Don’t want to comment on that.. gonna try it fresh then review. We will be back the next time we pass through the town of Oregon.

Bartenders are friendly and remember what you drink. Good selection of music on the jukebox. Crowd is a random mix of young and old. 3 pool tables, 2 dart machines, 6 gambling machines and a shuffleboard table. Plenty of parking. Street parking in the front, parking lot in the back. Like every bar there are some exceptions but it’s a nice relaxing environment most of the time.

This place is the spot to be! Opens 7 a.m. daily other than sunday opens at 11! On friday there is free homemade lunch first come first serve! The crowd is funny stupid and very witty early in the a.m.before 11! The night life is poppin on friday and Saturday nights!! BTW drinks are cheaper than anywhere around!!

Love stopping in for a beer or two with family and friends when I am in town. This bar and its predecessor at the same location have been a mainstay of the city of Oregon for at least 45 years. If you look up “midwestern tavern” in the dictionary, there is a picture of the Franklin Street beside it.
