I loved this place! The food was delicious and the drinks were super tasty! The margaritas are so cute and served in a mason jar. Depending on the size of the jar, it can serve either 1-2 people for the “half” or normal size and for the “full” it can serve 3-4 and boy are they worth every drop!

The service was very friendly and to be seated we got lucky and didnt have to wait long however, the wait can be lengthy depending on the time you go because the restaurant isnt very big on the inside. Even though it isnt super big it still feels comfortable and the atmosphere is family friendly!

I ordered the Birria Fries and it was DELCIOUS!!!! The meat was flavored perfect and it was soooo tender! My boyfriend got the Chicken Fajitas and I tried a piece of chicken and that was super yummy too! I will definitely be back to have some more yummy drinks and food!

Then going here for 30 years and they’ve been open longer than I’ve been going there that should tell you something. The grilled hot wings are great the enchiladas are great as well as the burritos. The chips and salsa are great but you have to ask for the extra hot salsa which is the best Perry a couple times I’ve had a ghost pepper salsa which was phenomenal but I haven’t seen it for years now probably 5+. The absolute best then ask for Arts margarita made typically with Corazon Reposado tequila, Grand Marnier, Triple Sec and fresh squeeze limes juice on the rocks with salt and sugar rim. The mole is pretty good when they have it as well as the black beans and corn salsa. Steak chicken and shrimp fajitas are pretty good as well Perry pretty much everything we’ve had over the years has been pretty good but a handful of times of course if something is always a Miss over that period of time. If you don’t like it just order another full margarita and everything will get better and even the sangria is pretty good. Oh the jalapeno salad dressing is really good⁹

Franklin Inn Mexican Restaurant is a great spot with delicious food made from fresh ingredients and a variety of flavorful dishes. The chimichangas were especially tasty and stood out among the menu items. Even though it was busy, the waitress was attentive and friendly. The dining room is a bit small and noisy, which made it a little hard to hold a conversation, but the charming decor added to the overall experience. All in all, it was an enjoyable visit, and I’d definitely come back again.

The food was fantastic! Huge portions, great flavor and spice levels, delicious drinks… Definitely going to return! The space is very tight and crammed and the service was a little slow, but they were packed, so I won’t hold that against them on the first trip. Highly recommend this place (and the chorizo stuffed portobellos!)!

Sat at the bar and had the best margaritas. Even better were the wings-a bit spicy, but worth the heat. Just delicious. Guac is very good, but for onion-adverse folks might be too much. We loved it. Also a very good draft beer selection IMO. Very friendly patrons and staff. It gets packed most evenings, but there is a reason why. Do yourself a favor and check it out. They also have outdoor patio seating for to-go orders (no waitstaff service). Photo is of the leftovers we took home.

The recipes are great. The ingredients are fresh and authentic I have not had anything disappointing here over the years. Very consistent

This years restaurant week prefix was great.

I’d recommend this place as an upscale option.

Warning: very small place and quite loud. And the wait can be long.

Wow – I can’t believe I waited this long to visit … what a hidden gem! From the fresh food, to the service, to the cozy atmosphere (no LED lights – just warm lighting), you can’t ask for much more. Happy hour pricing was excellent, too. Don’t sleep on the Pumpkin Mole sauce if it’s on special. Can’t wait to return again. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

I’ve been here once before. We got here for dinner on a Tuesday night around 5:45 when it was already packed. We didn’t have to wait too long to get a small table. They had a limit on the amount of time you could stay – maybe 75 minutes? It seemed like plenty of time but they were so busy that it took a while to get our orders placed and food received so I felt a little irritating at that point. We were able to eat quickly and get done though. The way staff was nice. And the food was tasty. Overall I think it is The best tasting Mexican food I’ve had north of Pittsburgh, so I imagine we’ll probably be back.

Dina was our waitress. She was very attentive and accomodating. She made great recommendations for drinks and meals. We ordered house (Traditional) margaritas. I recommend to order one jar of margarita per two people. Two full jars of maragaritas was too much for two people. They were very strong, but we can appreciate that. We prefer a little sweeter, so we ordered a few shots of agave syrup(gave us indigestion later, we think) to mix in. Phil, the lead bartender delivered it himself. Phil explained their margarita recipe is half tequila, half triple sec and margarita mix. We talked for a few. Awesome guy; invite him for drinks.
