Really nice deli, the food is great and the service is fast. Which surprised me. They actually carved the turkey in front of you for your sandwich. Not sliced off a loaf, but carved the pieces out. The gyros were delicious, along with the rice bowl. No wonder they keep a line there. It’s worth the wait.

There are breakfast and lunch menus, we visited this place for breakfast. Here is really good variety of breakfast meals: sandwiches and rolls, plates with eggs, muffins, bananas and some snacks. All is freshly made and very taste.
For drinks there are coffee, tea and soft drinks.
Good location: 10min walking distance to US Capitol and the same time in other direction to the railway station.

These people are amazing. Great service across the board, all staff always have a smile on their face and are very helpful. They’ve got great food, always hot and fresh. Even when there’s a line out the door – they will get your food out in less than 15 minutes.
I work at a nearby business and have been here more than a few times over the past few years. Great breakfast and even better lunch, and not too pricey. Highly Highly recommend.

Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it can be a miss. Tried the Mexican Burrito, and it was extremely greasy.
The price changes without notice, especially the Espresso and Iced Coffee menus. There are now two menus, one digital and one paper along the wall by the cash register. They do not match as the paper/wall menu is more expensive. I pointed this out weeks ago, and the cashier just shrugged and said it’ll be changed. As of today, it hasn’t.
Be careful when you order because the menu price and register price could be different, and it seems that staff are lax about the whole thing.

The white hot chocolate was AMAZING! HOWEVER, I asked for almond milk and the cashier said it was going to be an extra charge, I said that’s fine but then he turned to woman making my chocolate and said whole milk was fine?! She also looked annoyed at having to redo my chocolate.

Ordered breakfast this morning… food is typically okay. A bit concerning that I had to throw my home fries away since I found a lot of potato pieces that should have been discarded – after I put ketchup on them and started to eat. I’m not sure how it’s okay to cook potatoes that you can clearly see have some sort of rot/issue.
Update – I forget there are two locations. This experience is related to the North Capitol Street, NW location – not K Street, NW.

Chicken & Avocado Panini is amazing!! Loved the freshness of the hand-carved roasted chicken. The chipotle mayo had a nice sweetness. A great low-key place for lunch.
