My husband and I went here for dinner Saturday. Joy was our waitress and she was so amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu. I had the cubano with fries. It was so delicious and I dipped it in the house made dill ranch. It was every bit of delicious! My husband had the creamy chicken soup and chicken strips. We shared our meals because both were so delicious. Everything had fresh ingredients with every single bite. The tenders are hand breaded and not frozen!! The ambiance is nice as well. I can’t wait to come back when it is warm so I can sit in the court.

Don’t come to Monroe at night, but tonight had a meeting and it ended at dinner time walking back to my truck saw this place and petty full of people so of course I had to give it a try! Glad I did.. hardest part was picking what to eat everything looked so good coming out of the kitchen… so I went with hand crafted bacon cheddar brisket burger with hand cut bacon cheddar fires… blew my whole diet in 15 mins but holy smokes was it delicious…. I will be back…. Also there do offer a nice military first responder discount…

Stopped in with some friends for lunch. We got there before the dinning area was filled up with the lunch rush. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. Didn’t get a picture of the fried pickles because as soon as it was put on the table it was devoured! I ordered the fish and chips as the main meal. The fish was fried golden brown with a crispy flavor. The chips are home made so it was very fresh. The order is also served with tater sauce. Fish and chips are only served on Friday for lunch until it runs out. So make sure to get there early to try it!

Welcoming, friendly, attentive. Food quality and taste was very good, portion size good for most people. Especially for lunch time the time from order to serving was quick and food was hot.
They have a nice inside and outside space with sun shades. Good and sufficient parking close by.
They got awards for next steak, salad, and restaurant in Monroe. I believe from 2025 maybe 2024 for the salad and/or steak.
I can recommend this restaurant and given the opportunity try more dishes.

So me and my wife and a friend decided to try this place today for lunch. I had ordered a few items ( kinda a foodie and like to try different things , & this was our first time here so wanted to see how a mixture of things was ) . . . . My wife had tenders and fries & they were pretty solid . Hand cut fries and fresh hand breaded tenders. I had a cup of the chicken fajita soup , IT WAS GREAT . I also had chicken bbq nachos ( the waiter did recommend it was good & i took her word for it , yes she offered to do just the chicken plain but again I’m here to try things and i took her recommendation) and i also ordered wings. . . . Garlic parm to be exact on the wings . . . .

The nachos were terrible , meat was over cooked & cheese sauce was a bit clumpy. Definitely could tell it wasn’t made to order and both ( chicken and cheese were either old or in a slow cooker or even warmer and just thrown on top lol ) & the wings . . Z they were crispy but they tasted like grease lol like i couldn’t taste a garlic or parm on them lol so i just told the waiter that i didn’t like the nachos and didn’t want them anymore. She do ask was it something else i wanted and i was like no i felt like i didn’t wanna be a pain but i would just send those back & keep in mind didn’t even say anything about the wings . . . Trying to be very modest and not cause to much of a hassle .

So we ask for the bill and boxes . When i received my check the nachos were on there . I kindly ask for the waiter to take that off seeing that i didn’t eat them and sent them back , she said her manager/owner said they made them to my liking and i would still get charged . I asked her well why didn’t you mention that when you took them away . If i would have known that i would have to pay for something i didn’t like or want anymore then i would have took them and gave them to someone homeless or something. . . I asked to speak to manager/ owner & boyyyy idk if i should have .

He was a bit aggressive and was standing over me while having the conversation. He kept looking at me with a certain look & idk it wasn’t comfortable. Once i told him that the chicken was over cooked & the sauce was clumpy on top of the bbq chicken didn’t mix well i can tell that bothered him . Idk just that interaction wasn’t the best and it definitely made me feel uncomfortable completely. Plus me and my wife were the only African Americans in the establishment so don’t know if they pre judged us or what.

Just word of advice, you order something and you don’t like it , be ready to pay for it . Even if you don’t eat it , the quality isn’t good or whatever. And if you tell them , the owner may get angry with you and stand over you while you guys have the conversation.

Oh but i did get it off the bill . But i think i was lucky . When i stated if i would have known that me sending it back i would still have to pay , i would have kept it and it wasn’t told to me , he stated he wasn’t remaking it . . . . . . But yeah . I hope things get better you guys actually listen and read these reviews. Not sure about coming back to this establishment.

Tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! Everything was tasty, and the service was super quick. I had the Salmon Cake Burger – it was okay, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. I asked for no spicy sauce, and without it, the burger ended up kind of dry. One slice of tomato wasn’t enough to add much juiciness. Maybe a non-spicy sauce option would help balance it out a bit.

The vibe was great though – the outdoor area was clean, fans were going, and it felt really comfortable.

Have ate here several times over the years, typically on the weekend for lunch, always sitting on the outdoor patio during nice weather, everything has been good & the staff are super friendly. If I had to pick on one thing, it would be the homemade ranch lol. Too much dill for me.

Awesome restaurant will most definitely be coming back. Food was outstanding! From the pizza to the Philly cheese steak to the chicken tenders my child got. Everything was exceptional. Great flavor, seasoning, everything was on point. Portions were on par with the price, no one will be hungry. Staff was courteous and attentive during our entire meal. Can’t say enough about my experience here. My wife also loves their speciality drinks.

Came for lunch with my coworkers and got the burger. It was big, juicy, and very tasty. I also tasted a Buffalo chicken sandwich and their nachos, which were piled high with toppings. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. I’ll be back to try more, but so far I highly recommend the burger.

*Update*
I’ve been back multiple times and I also recommend the chicken parmesan sandwich, philly cheesesteak, chicken burger, and cubano.

Celiac? Gluten sensitivity?
This is your place.

Living with Celiac or having a gluten intolerance is frustrating by itself. It becomes much more frustrating when you go to a restaurant and you tell the server your issue, and they look at you like you’re an alien from another planet… or worse… get frustrated with you. I’ve lost count of how many places I’ve had to walk out of because I knew just from speaking to them that it wasn’t safe for me to eat there.

That doesn’t happen here. Not only do they have plenty of gluten-free options (which are well labeled on the menu)… But the staff also seem to be well trained on how to handle the questions that we may have. I had a server specifically ask me one time after I ordered a gluten-free bun if I was Celiac…that has never happened before…anywhere. (I’ve been here enough now that they pretty much all know without me having to even say it anymore, but that’s beside the point.)

The staff and owners have always been extremely friendly whenever we are there. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, and it’s just an overall great experience for us every time we go. It means a tremendous amount to be able to sit down at a table and not really worry about how I’m going to feel 30 minutes after I leave because someone in the kitchen or the server themselves doesn’t understand how to handle my food after I tell them my issue. It SHOULD be this easy everywhere, but those of us that deal with it everyday know that it’s not.

If you’re looking for a place that serves great food, with staff that understands what it means to be careful with cross-contamination and what you’re served, this is your place. Communicate with them clearly, and you will not be disappointed.
