We were debating between this Italian restaurant and another highly rated one in the area. Not only was the other one booked, but the atmosphere was a little bland. Frankie’s got us in without reservation on a Friday evening (though reservations would be helpful) and served us one of the best meals during our time at Old Forge. Both the scampi and chicken riggies were outstanding. But the reason why I really wanted to leave this review was to give the front staff a shout out. Everyone was working hard, and seemed very efficient. Specifically, the gentleman with longer hair working hostess and busboy. Was there a table he didn’t cross paths with?! It’s nice to see hard working staff now a days and I hope their employer is recognizing them for this!!

my first time here and I loved it! everything was delicious! 10/10! especially the homemade bread, baked fresh daily! and therefore, of course, the bailey’s white chocolate bread pudding, made with that same bread! the chocolate gelato, also made in house, was so good but quite rich, I should’ve gone with 1 scoop instead of 2! my entrée, the rigatoni con fungi, was magnificent!

Wow first time visiting during Snodeo. Will be back! The starter salad with homemade dressing was tasty! The seafood was amazing! Loved the downstairs at the bar we hung out WILL BE BACK! If you want the best dinner food in Old Forge this is the place!

The chicken riggies were delicious. But they couldn’t make up for the absolutely abysmal service. Not only our table but every table in the room was neglected by the servers, we waited 20 minutes before even getting water, waited over an hour for food, and got the bare minimum service in between that. Our server checked on us 3 times in 2 hours there to give us water to give us appetizer and to give us food… not the kind of service I expect for the price of the meal (which was overpriced for what we got). We won’t be back (and fairly sure the rest of the room won’t be either).

We showed up on a Friday night without a reservation. Someone had just canceled so the hostess sat us immediately! Olivia was our waitress and was outstanding! We were eating in under 30 minutes from walking in the door. Food was delicious! 100% rating for this restaurant and Olivia!

We walked in an hour before close with 7 people and the staff was wonderful about it! Definitely have a family feel with everyone pitching in on table help. Food was phenomenal and drinks were delicious! We will definitely be back!

The tourists and seasonal residents that eat there come from places that have some of the best Italian restaurants in America. That should tell you one thing: it’s Tommy Cutlets approved.

I’m leaving this review here, although we went to Keen Kitchen. We were informed the business is merging and fell in love with the food and our server was wonderful. Cant wait to stop by in May!
