Simply put, consistent damn good food and service. Take the time to go, sit at the bar and have a couple drinks with your meal. The drinks are well priced and taste great. Good selection of beer for a small place. Olivia does a great job and knows her customers well, old school feel of a friendly corner bar that NW Tucson desperately needed.

The Philly cheesesteaks needed more cheese and a little more seasing but overall good I just love cheese. So if you go and are cheese lover ask for extra cheese. Staff was attentive and atmosphere was nice people were being respectful and not loud.: 4/5 | : 5/5 | : 5/5 …

I was devastated when the original location on Campbell shut. I had many memories there, including memories with the late Frank Santos, whose cheer and dedication to his customers I will never forget. For the longest time I was afraid to go to the new location, but when I finally did, I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. The quality of the food has only gone up, and the service has remained the same. Undoubtedly one of the best cheesesteaks in town, and by far my favourite.

The only reason I’m giving Frankie’s 3 stars is because of their prices. I ordered one sandwich (which didn’t even include fries or a drink), which was delicious, by the way, and it cost over $14 dollars! And this wasn’t even their ‘large’ sandwich. Another way of looking at it: each bite cost about $1.35. A side-by-side comparison: Wishbone chicken right next door gives you 4 pieces of fried chicken, french fries, and garlic bread for less than $14.00!

I’m so glad they opened up another location on this side of town. However, I recently found out that the one on Grant is closed. I am surprised I have never reviewed this place as the cheesesteaks are amazing, highly suggest pairing mushrooms, with with cheese and upgrading to hot peppers if you are okay with spicy. There cheese fries are amazing as well as them serving alcohol and dessert, you must try this place at least once, especially if you are visiting from out of town or are from Philadelphia and miss your cheesesteak.
