I got the A Town dog that came with chili, cheese, and slaw. The dog itself had a really nice snap to it and the bun was nicely buttered and toasted. I also had a side of crinkle fries that came with a nice fry seasoning that had a hint of sweetness but not over powering. I also tried the onion rings that had a nice panko like coating. It’s not a beer batter onion ring so I would keep that in mind if that’s your vibe. Over all I would come back when I’m craving a hotdog in the future and also to try the other menu items like their burgers and breakfast.
The food was fresh and buns were toasted. Couple things I wish is that they had different fry options. Only one size fry was upsetting and I had to buy two fries to get enough. And not be stingy with the toppings. Don’t get me wrong the food was good but they were lacking toppings. I understand you want to have a visual aesthetic but they not loading the dog up the way the site shows. Just a little more to fill the bun. All and all great experience. Will be posting a video soon. Just need more fry sizes and load up the toppings more.
Went in, very quiet, only one other person. Went to a table, scanned the qr code menu on the table and ordered my food. Easy peasy.
Food came out pretty quick.
I got a burger, a chili dog, fries and onion rings. I wanted to try a little of everything, but settled on two meals .
My total was $30 even with a 3$ and some change tip.
When I say those onion rings were the best I’ve ever had, I mean it.
I will go back just for them.
They were perfect.
The workers were nice and polite.
They should really be more busy than what they were considering the overall experience I had.
All the food was good. Nice “real” food.
I ordered Al La cart, totaling $22
I got The “A-town” $5.99
All Beef Hot Dog, Frankie’s Chili, Cheddar Cheese, and Frankie’s Slaw. While I prefer my slaw finely chopped, their slaw is tasty, with a slight sweetness. Chili is a standard all meat chili.
Also got, The “New Yorker” $6.99
All Beef Hot Dog, Onion, Sauerkraut, Spicy Mustard. This is my favorite style of hot dog, wish I had asked for extra mustard.
Also got onion rings $3.99
Can def tell they’re frozen and not made in house. That’s not a bad thing, but making sure others know.
The food is good, not great, but good; I mean it’s hard to screw up Hot Dogs, lol. Unless you’re going to a gourmet place what can you expect from a Hot Dog joint. I will say, I feel like they are a bit pricy, but when you’re nestled in the middle of Old Town Conyers, you gotta pay the rent somehow.
They do have burgers, also have a Hot Dog Combo with a 3 Topping Hot Dog, chips and a drink for $7.99.
I’ll def go back.
