Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. I loved that they work as a team. Staff are smiling and kind all the time. It wasn’t crazy busy which made us feel cared for. Food was delicious, the best tomato soup we’ve ever tried. Please order the old fashioned milkshake… WOW

A nice and cozy family-owned restaurant at a nice location! They have some fantastic pasta and brunch options, and we were also pleased with how good their hot chocolate is. It’s quite spacious in there as well, giving it a nice cozy vibe. I highly recommend their seafood pasta 🙂

We had such a wonderful family lunch at Frankie’s Modern Diner. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable – even with the kids in tow. The atmosphere is bright, cozy, and relaxed, perfect for a family meal.
The food was absolutely delicious, generous portions, beautiful presentation, and packed with flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired with fresh, tasty veggies and a rich, creamy poutine on the side (a big hit!). The spaghetti with meatballs was hearty and full of that comforting homemade taste, and the tomato soup was velvety and flavorful with the perfect balance of cream and herbs. Everything tasted fresh and made with care.
The kids were happy, the adults were happy, and we all left with full bellies and big smiles. Thank you, Frankie’s, for giving us such a memorable meal, we’ll definitely be back!

The café is right in the heart of the city, with large windows that offer a lovely view of the street—perfect for sitting by and enjoying the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the reviews. I ordered the vegan wrap and was served an uncooked in-house chickpea patty. While the staff did replace it with a cooked version when I asked, the initial experience with the cold wrap was hard to overlook. On the brighter side, my partner’s omelette wrap was delicious, and we were glad to enjoy a well-made flat white here.

Fun diner with comfort food. I enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich and my husband was happy with his macaroni and cheese. The servings were large and we weren’t able to finish everything. The peach milkshake was really good as well. We would definitely visit again.

My new favourite place in Victoria, open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. My Black Friday lunch: The mozzarella sticks are massive and delicious. The Caesar salad is adventurous (I couldn’t get the name of the herbs and spices used for the anchovies dressing) and the strawberry lemonade is lovely. Today, I tried the West Coast breakfast: eggs Benedict (1st time) with smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese with a hint of lemon, capers and the best hash browns eveeeeeeer. Had the same caring waiter both days. Very nice and welcoming team. The décor is modern and beautiful.

We came with a reservation but you could get a table after not so long as a walk in. It was busier than I had anticipated, and with the busy the staff were good and attentive. Food was good, not exceptional, but it was good. Lots of options, several upgrades or alternatives available and they have upgrade menus for meals with a small happy, main and desert.
Overall I think everybody left satisfied.
Thank you Frankies for the meal. We will be back. See if we can get everything to a 5 next meal.

Stopped with friends Friday to try. They apologized and said they forgot to place order with the others? Upscale kind of restaurant. Ordered a medium rare steak and got well done. Whoops! Will give them another try. Sometimes there is an off day. Service was a bit off Friday too. Everyone around us seemed to enjoy the food and service.

Just saw the restaurant and decided to give it a try and my friend and i both enjoyed the meal. Everything was delicious and hot with promt service. If ever we are back this side we will definitely go again

The place is quiet and calm. Staff are super friendly. Coffee is really nice. My only real complaint is the salad was way too small and the salmon filet was tiny for the price in comparison to other places, HOWEVER, it tasted very nice.
