To me Frankie’s is one of my favorites ever. I’ve been eating their pizza since I was in my high school years in the’80’s. I’m sure it’s changed hands but there has been little change to their ingredients and “style”. It’s still consistently that good!

I wish I would have gotten photos. But I will say Frankies Restaurant in Osprey is the locals favorite. Its been around 20 years I believe. Their food is great. I order the Big Frankie my favorite by far. I cant see past the Big Frankie to order anything else. Go check it out , you’ll be glad you did. I’ll post photo on my next visit there.

I’m from St.Pete & was passing through Osprey, FL when I overheard someone talking about this pizza place called Frankie’s. I stopped by & had The Big Frankie w/ onion rings, it was excellent & very filling! The service & staff were engaging & awesome & they mentioned they were adding quiche to the menu so I can’t wait to go back & try that along with everything else cause they don’t just serve Italian. It’s a great place for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Osprey, FL. This has gotta be a must stop!!!

Pizza was super delicious! Some of the best I have had in Sarasota. Mozz sticks were good. But I wouldn’t ever sit down to eat here again. $5/drink is absolutely crazy. Especially for 2 kids drinks. Service was mediocre at best. We we not given plates for the pizza and the server remained at the bar, never checking if we needed anything.

Not that I dont like the restaurant, but i hadnt been since 2017. Just never think aboit it . Every time I pass by I see it hiding and say I need to order from them bc they are good.
Last night I finally ordered take out and the pizza was just as good as back in 2017. Was ready for pick up in 10 minutes.Ordered the “ Special” tomatoes, garlic . Spinach, ricotta on original crust ) and a Hawaiian on thin . They were both delicious but I think next time , Ill keep them all original crust because the thin was very soggy and difficult to hold. Became a knife and fork pizza. Still very tasty amd will dine in next time

Waitress did not write anything down and got all orders wrong all surrounding tables. Portions were small, food was not hot. Service poor.

Pizza is the very good! Great local joint. Although no mask wearing which I find odd during these times. Philly steak and cheese had too little cheese but when I asked for more our cheerful server brought me two slices!

Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. Was not entirely satisfied but still tasted good. Buffalo chicken was thrown into the middle of the pie, making a soggy mess as the outer half was just cheese pizza with tomato sauce. Taste 4 out of 5. Presentation 1 out of 5. Might try again.
