Great food, reasonable prices and superior service … loved everything about this place. Portion sizes were perfect and not overly excessive, like you find at many Italian restaurants. As a server and bartender myself, I rarely am wowed by service. Tracey, however, made me hope that even 50% of the time I can even be as efficient and attentive as she was. Great $10.99 lunch specials make this a place we definitely will insert into our local rotation.

Definitely worth the visit. The food was remarkably good, from the delicately rich flavors of the Alfredo and vegetable-laden bread-dipping sauce, to the perfectly prepared shrimp starter, it was an excellent foray into well-executed gastronomy. The bread was the best! The flavors were a step ahead of other Italian eateries, and some of the best I’ve experienced in a long while. Their service was quite friendly and responsive. I heartily recommend Frankie’s in Blue Springs.

This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time. We even got to meet Frankie, the owner and namesake of the restaurant.
Customer service was perfect food delicious, and all of us in my church group that came here to eat enjoyed every bite.

Very welcoming staff and atmosphere. It was evening so the lighting was soft, low and inviting. There were 4 of us and we ordered different dishes. Chicken Marcella, spaghetti with sausage, some kind of shrimp and pasta dish, and I ordered eggplant parmesean. Only the shrimp dish was impressed. The eggplant was very mushy and the sauce was bland. Considering the prices, we would only go back for the less expensive lunch and try something different. I would recommend trying lunch first.

I placed a pickup order today for lunch and had a more than pleasant experience. Every member of staff that I encountered greeted me and made me feel welcome—even the server dropping off drinks made a point to acknowledge me. The lunch portion was great, with several options to choose from. They placed lots of care in how they packaged my food, which I appreciate immensely. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Bruce/brice will devote his care and attention to you with a quick wit and good memory to make you feel like family.
Tracy will bring the showmanship with her devotion to the role, and open her door, if you’ve got nowhere else left to go.
Miguel has not been there long, but his focus and dedication to perfection goes back beyond space and time.
Frankie, well he has made this all possible by keeping the right space in tact. This place will become a family favorite and deserves the title every last bit.

Service was wonderful! Place was nice and clean. The food was nothing to write home about though. We LOVED Tuscano’s in Buckner and since they closed we were looking for somewhere that compared so we tried Frankie’s. Not even close to being as good as Tuscano’s. May not have been as much of a let down if we hadn’t ever had Tuscano’s but once you have had good Italian, the rest is sub par. For the prices and sub par food, I probably wouldn’t go back. Nothing tasted home made. All the sauces tasted like they came out of a jar or can.
