SO DANG GOOD! Burgers had such a great flavor and were delicious! The fresh made onion rings were a huge hit with our family too. The cup of chili was perfect on a cold winter day. You can tell they take a lot of pride in producing quality food for their customers. We can’t wait to come back again and try more off the menu! Outstanding customer service as well.

This was our first time eating here. And over all was good. We had the colossal burger was very good and filling. . Little to much sauce but was good. And got the chili burger it was good just not enough chili on it. Fries didnt have enough seasoning and was a little over done. But all in all was good. The staff was friendly. I would go back again.

We were just passing through; when traveling we like to eat at local restaurants, not chains. So we came to Frankie’s Burgers, and we were so happy with that choice! The food was absolutely delicious. I got the Hawaiian burger, my husband got the mushroom swiss burger. They were both fabulous! Best burgers ever! We definitely would recommend this place and if we ever pass through again we will stop here.

All I can really say is that Frankie’s has really excellent burgers, from the one I ate. The price is a little bit high for what it is (think around $10-12 for just the burger and fries), but it makes up for it a bit with flavor. I had a chili burger and would definitely order it again if I had the chance. The fries are tasty! You may want to put a bit more salt on though, but that’s all preference.
Service was a bit slow, but I chalk that up to it being a Tuesday and there only being two folks working the counter.
Worth a stop if you’re in the area!

This is a fun place with great service and tasty food. Excellent fries. We tried both burgers and chicken sandwiches as well as the gyro wrap. All reports were of tastiness!
Also pro tip: grab tasty vittles here to go and take them 2 blocks over to Blue Pit Brewing and enjoy eating in their taproom with a tasty beer or cider

Good sized burgers with all the fixings- only get the double if you’re really hungry! Club and Philly were also very good and filling. Onion rings were a bit crunchy, they also charge for water cups and fry sauce fyi. Other than it was not too bad, a good place to try out.

We stopped here for dinner. My kids shared the French dip because the woman at the counter said it was pretty large (it wasn’t), and I had the shrimp dinner. There were tons of shrimp cooked well, but the fries were a little soggy and underdone and I had to go back twice for basic sauces like salad dressing and ketchup. The garlic on my toast was burned. I thought it was unusual to pile hot food on top of the salad. Overall very average food at higher prices. At $14-15 per entree I’d expect better quality food.

Picked this spot over fast food cause it seemed good from the other reviews, but wish we had just gotten Wendy’s. Burgers were bad, bun was too soft, lettuce was wilted. Fries were cooked okay, but just freezer fries. Table was not wiped down and there was food on the ground. Otherwise the restaurant felt pretty clean. They were pretty quick making out food.

Frankie’s serves the old fashioned, hand made hamburger you’re looking for. Nice diner vibe in old downtown Mountain Home, Idaho. Get off the interstate, drive past the fast food joints and come to Frankie’s for an authentic American classic burger & fries with a malt or shake.
