Overall it was a great spot for the prices. We ate lunch on a Tuesday and it was not very busy. It had kind of a restaurant smell, not food but like maybe the carpets needed a good shampooing. The boys loved their salmon burger and their shrimp. My prime dip sandwich was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The sweet potato fries and the shoestring fries were both excellent. Our waitress was incredibly kind and got everything exactly right. I loved that the kids menu was extensive and not just like three items. We will definitely go back!
Note: I’m pretty sure Google showed that it was 20 to $30 per person, but I don’t think that’s terribly accurate unless you’re just ordering the most expensive things, or you’re ordering an appetizer and entree per person. None of our food was more than $17 per entree. The prices were extremely reasonable.
We had Toya for our server. She made sure our water & tea glasses stayed full. She checked in to make sure everything was ok.
We are looking forward to trying some of the early bird specials as well.
The atmosphere is nice not designed for families with small kids but great for date night or girls night with cocktails.
We placed an order over the phone for pick up. When I arrived there were 4 ladies at the front desk only 1 greeted me and said she will get your check out (the girl helping a gentlemen with his order) the 2 others were probably waiting for a table for their section. So once the girl was done helping the other customer she did not look at me I had to speak up to get help even though the 3 other girls were standing there as well chatting away.
Food: the price suggestion is not wrong but if I am going to spend $100 on 2 meals I expect service with a smile. I get home and my order was WRONG! I order chicken parmesan and ask for NO tomato sauce at all. And I get home to see tomato sauce, you may think but tomato sauce is always on this dish and that is correct but if you are mom and had children there are certain things you can no longer handle anymore and for me TOMATO Sauce is one. The fried mozzarella tasted fake and a little slimy. I do not recommend them at all. The ribeye was soaked in so much butter to make it appeared to be tendered. Plus I asked for a twice baked potato instead we received red mash potatoes.
But at least now I know that this place is not for me.
