Amazing cocktails, we got a brown butter old fashioned and a gin and cucumber cocktail. Both phenomenal.

The food was fantastic. Really recommend going and getting the kimchi fried chicken.

Probably the coolest vibes outside of the West Village—and it’s right in the heart of JC. Frankie’s is an effortlessly stylish Australian spot that feels like a hidden gem but delivers like a destination. Whether you’re trying to impress out-of-towners or a date, this place hits the mark.

Drinks? Solid across the board. The Lovely Creature—served in a whimsical frog mug—is a spicy mezcal punch that feels tailor-made for a boat cruise or summer rooftop hang. But the standout is Let’s Stay Together—an unbelievable old fashioned that balances depth, smoothness, and just the right twist to make you rethink what an old fashioned can be.

Food-wise, don’t skip the kimchi fried chicken. It’s crispy, punchy, and totally worthy of main dish status. Sit at the bar if you can—it’s the best seat in the house to soak in the atmosphere, the music, and the laid-back but elevated energy.

Frankie’s isn’t just good—it’s one of the best spots in Jersey City, full stop.

Tried half the menu!
Kimchi fried chicken- everyone’s favorite
Red pepper dip flatbread- insanely delicious
Corn ribs- great for the table but only if you love corn
Crab and corn fried rice- solid but wouldn’t order again. Flavor was underwhelming.
Burger- fantastic.
Meat pasta- pasta was undercooked but flavor was there
Green curry- coconut and tasty

Tried this Aussie gem and it was a deliciously unique experience! The avo toast was fresh and vibrant, the Full Aussie platter hearty and satisfying. The Welsh rarebit stood out — perfectly poached eggs over sourdough with a rich Guinness spread that was bold and flavorful. Even the Vegemite toast, a first for us, was surprisingly tasty with its salty kick. Every dish brought something new to the table, offering an authentic taste of Australia in every bite. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore bold, comforting flavors!

How fantastic this restaurant was, was almost fantasy like.

The tables were spotless, the staff was so kind, the food was great, full of taste and depth, and the music was excellent and set at a very reasonable volume.

The bartender was so so kind and I couldn’t have appreciated the service more. The mocktails were fairly priced, and the entire restaurant was beyond spotless as far as cleanliness goes.

They’re well priced, well staffed, and the food is great. What more can you even ask of them?

Throughout my time there, I had a pleasant experience. I love the pink walls, the green plants, and the unique art.

I enjoyed the food. The Full English breakfast I had was very filling and tasty. My drink of choice was a tumeric latter, which was lightly sweet and complemented my meal well.

It was their donuts that surprised me. My boyfriend and I still had some room for dessert after our meal, so we ordered donuts. It blew my mind when I tasted the donuts. Served warm, it had chocolate sauce running down the sides. It has a soft, spongy dough. The sweetness is just right, but not overwhelming like Dunkin’ Donuts.

Despite everything else, I’d come back just for the donut!

Frankie is MY FAVORITE place in Jersey City, or anywhere for that matter, my fiance and I come here several times a week, we love it so much we got engaged here. The food is incredible and fresh, the ambiance and vibe is top notch, and the staff/service is really the best part. Great wine and cocktails too!

Some of our favorites are the kimchi fried chicken, seafood or veggie curry, broccolini salad, and a really good double cheeseburger, but we have loved almost everything on the menu. Some of our favorite cocktails are the Lovely Creature and Above the Clouds! We also love their orange wine selection too.

Trust me, this place is awesome.

Food was good, but small portions. I ordered a crab omelette and it was all bread and eggs almost no crab, my husband ordered the salmon avocado, also a very small portion. All the dishes came with a lot of bread, I guess to compensate the tiny portions. Thanks to the pancakes were weren’t starving after we finished. I wish I liked this place better because it is really cute and the staff is nice!

First time here for brunch and sat at the bar. Nice interior atmosphere. Had a latte and CBD infused beet/OJ/ginger juice called Nico’s song that was very refreshing. Ordered the hummus & tahini dish that was very fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back and try some other food.

Nice vibes, went in on Saturday evening, got a reservation one hour prior for a table of 3. Got the flower in the sun non alcoholic drink, it tasted nice. For food got hummus and flatbread, that was okay. Got kimchi fried chicken, tastes too tangy after a while. The veggie burger was simple and nice. Overall a good place.
