First time here. I love this diner. My tablemate said that the maryland crab soup was great and tasted more like crab than vegetables. The garden salad was cold and fresh. The rolls were warm and lovely. The #8 KC pork chop daily special was outta this world. So much to eat and so hot and delicious. Pro tip: order the broccoli “naked” (without the butter). The bread pudding was tasty, although odd that they served it cold instead of warm. The strawberry shortcake cake was excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

After wrapping up a windy early-morning job, the Property Tenders LLC team decided it was time to slow things down and treat my wife to a well-earned breakfast at Frankford Diner—and as always, it delivered.
My wife went classic and comforting with eggs over easy, French toast, and three rounds of hot coffee ☕—exactly how a diner breakfast should be. I chose the Delaware omelette, packed with mushrooms, scrapple, bacon, and cheese, paired with home fries loaded with peppers and onions, and finished it off with a large, ice-cold glass of apple juice. Hearty, filling, and full of local flavor.
One pro tip if it’s your first visit: always check out the dessert cabinet. Even though they were out of chocolate options this morning, the strawberry shortcake absolutely stole the show—and yes, it looked just as good as it tasted . Chris our server really dressed it up and added melted chocolate to add a little sweet flair to it!

Cute little Diner in Frankford. We walked in a didn’t have a wait to be seated. After ordering the food it was out in less then 10 minutes. Food came out hot and looked great. We ordered Chicken / pasta dishes. The chicken was tender and the pasta with the mushrooms was cooked just right. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Waitress was wonderful and made sure we had everything needed. Rhe prixes were very reasonable with large portions. We didn’t realize they closed at 9 and they didn’t give us a hard time for running over…A must try if younare in the area.

My son and I eat here almost every Sunday, sometimes we bring the rest of the family and/or friends. The food is good, the people are nice, environment is clean. The fact that the menu is varied is very helpful, especially when dealing with children. My son likes to order wings at 9 AM!

I honestly could not say enough good things about this diner! With my pasta meal , there was still alot of sauce when I was done , which is a good thing. The food here was the best that I’ve had in a long time if not the best ever!! The atmosphere was okay, it was a little cold inside, but other than that, there would be nothing that I could find wrong. I just wish I had room to try the dessert because it looks so good. I added a photo but that was after I already started digging in. Sorry I couldn’t resist as soon as he put it down I dove in. Lol

Stumbled upon this little gem in lower Delaware. Stopped for breakfast to find a great meal, warm friendly staff. Cost friendly. Portions were great. Even the other patrons were friendly. Stopped on another trip and arrived for lunch service. Again, great staff, delicious affordable meal. Get the Smith Island cake to go. You’ll thank me later!

Stopped in here for breakfast while our daughter had an event nearby. The restaurant had a very modern interior and recent remodeling, but the food was honestly average. I had pancakes and eggs and my husband had bacon and eggs. The home fries lacked any flavor. The pancakes were okay. It wasn’t a bad experience. Just nothing stood out as outstanding.

Oh my goodness! I couldn’t stand Ocean City prices any more. I heard about FFD and drove 20 minutes to some really good food! Tuesday special: 2 large country fried steaks, huge Greek Salad, big baked potato, broccoli smothered in garlic butter and roasted red peppers. If that wasn’t enough, I got a free dessert of rice pudding topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. $16.99! I’ll be back FFD.

Awesome restaurant with a quaint feeling. We stopped in for a quick bite and were very impressed. The place was clean and table well set. The food was very good, and the prices were well priced. Soup was included with the entrées as well, and the portions were big. We ordered cheeseburgers, a turkey club sandwich, and a french dip sandwich. The customer service from the server and cashier was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back here.
