I was born and raised in Connecticut just 15 minutes from the original Frank Pepe Pizzeria, and I have to say this was exceptional. Brittany, our server, was attentive and accommodating. I wanted a few things on the side and it arrived exactly as I wanted. My salad was extraordinary and I did taste the white clam and the margarita—they were superb just like I remember. We’ll be back for sure! If you haven’t tried New Haven pizza, it is a must and often rated among the top pizza in the United States. Boom!

Fairly busy night but no line out the door. Didn’t seem like the kitchen was being too pressured. The wait was as they mentioned. Service was friendly. Pizza was a little dry and dark on the edges for my taste, although I know its brick oven and is typically cooked well. Half chicken and half shrimp white pizza. Plenty of chicken, bravo. Shrimp was lacking with only one shrimp per piece of pizza, its 1 shrimp per 5 bites. Not a great ratio for a 45 dollar pizza. Overall, it was good. Just dont be so stingy on the shrimp. Shrimp lovers want to taste the shrimp not the bill.

Came in day after blizzard when most restaraunts were closing early or not open. Came in about 30-40 minutes before close but all staff was super friendly and accommodating and never rushed me or the other guests who came in around same time. Food was hot and ingredients fresh.Thanks to entire staff for being awesome and welcoming that night. A rarity in today’s service culture.

I went with my fiancé and we got a salad and pizza. The salad tasted way better than the pizza. I’m all for char on my pizza, but half of it was so hard it hurt our jaw to chew. That’s the first time we didn’t eat our crust. The crust was the hardest part. We ate as much as we could because we don’t like wasting food. That and it was a bit pricey. I can’t imagine that pizza reheated. Yikes. I almost quit eating mid-chew because I was tired of munching. Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with it. We were told to do a light char next time. I don’t know about that.. The flavor wasn’t anything special either.

Picked up a pizza tonight for me and my father ordered a large pepperoni. The pizza was extremely burnt overdone. It was disgusting very expensive pizza place I could not believe whoever was running that oven actually cut this pizza up and gave it to a customer will never ever go to this place again.

1st time going. The food was good. We tried the clam pizza, which they are supposed to be famous for, we did not really care for that one. The pepperoni one was good. We also got the Capresse, Amanti Delle Carne, and a just cheese they were also good. My grandson his picky with his pizza and he really liked the cheese pizza.

Came in to celebrate a birthday, father’s day, and anniversary. Had 11 people, and they set up a table with no problem. We ordered 5 different pizzas and 2 different salads. The waitress was on top of everything we needed. The pizza is a thin crust pizza. The pizzas were overdone for my liking, but honestly, I do like crispy crust. Bottom of pizzas burnt n left black residue on your hands and grease. But no complaints from anyone, not even all the kids. So for that it was a great time. Nice Atmosphere.
