We were looking for a place that had fish fry. Everyone in town was packed . We decided to give Frank and Ernie’s a try as they didn’t seem as crowded as everyone else. Boy am I sure glad we did. Our server was wonderful, even with a bar full of people we received quick and friendly service. I ordered the fish extra crispy and they did not disappoint. Flaky , tender , crispy fish , not over battered and fried just to my liking. The rye bread was good quality and had a great garlic butter on it. There was even a nice slice of some of the sweetest watermelon I’ve ever had. And the price was right too. My friend and I will definitely be back for some of the other weekly specials. Definitely recommend

Nice family that runs this bar.Good food and daily food specials.Good Bloody Marys, draft beer is a great price. 1 pool table, 1 dartboard & a jukebox & 1 ATM, 5 gambling machines. Friendly & fun atmosphere.Enclosed smoking patio & restrooms on inside. Definitely recommend going there for food & drinks & fun!!!

Went in during the pride festival and was informed by the bartender an old bigger lady in an incredibly rude and snarky way that I had to immediately leave the establishment as I had not brought my id with me. I informed the bartender I was not drinking any alcohol and would order an appetizer if necessary which she flat out refused and demanded I leave. My partner who is trans was looked at multiple times and was accused of having a fake id because she looked like a “man” on her id, she also told me the alcohol tasted like dust. Really not the image I would portray if I owned a business especially on such an inclusive day, this company should be ashamed of themselves and the bartender should be fired. Disgusting
Edit: editing my review to respond to the obviously lackluster response from a horrible owner who can’t read my original review. I had stated multiple times that I was asked to leave from the premises simply due to the fact that I did not have an id on me at the time, I had also stated multiple times that I was not planning on drinking or ordering anything from your bar and was ordered to leave anyway, I don’t consider any of this good customer service and replying stating that my story was not true is just the final nail in the coffin. I genuinely hope you go out of business and end up living on the streets.

I used to go to this bar in the late 80’s and it was fun then, it’s changed since then in a good way, it’s bigger and more modern. F&E has a great selection of beer on tap and our bartender was a good dude! Definitely going back, the bar changed but it’s still a place I like to go and have a drink

We occasionally stop in here for shots on the way home. The prices are always reasonable and the staff is friendly enough. Tonight was our first time staying. Good prices, and above average bar food. Not a place you take out of town friends but great option for cheap pub food and drinks.

This was a nice tavern. The beer was a good variety at a great price. The bar area was ok, but they have free pool on Mondays and free foosball on Tuesdays. Not many places offer this benefit and this place has been doing this for many years. They do offer food, but I haven’t tried it yet.

I visited here yesterday to check out the business after a recent remodel. The floor plan is more open and there is a larger bar, windows and more tables for dining and drinking. I will need to return soon to try the food. I was given a copy of the menu and they also have daily food specials. The prices appear to be very reasonable too.
