Classic Italian food, made with care, nicely presented. Surprisingly abundant portions – 5 of six adults took home leftovers. Great taste, not overly salty the way some restaurants do to “boost” flavor.
I had Veal Lucca; veal was tender, light marsala sauce was light but had the right flavor and tang. The side of broccoli and cauliflower was nicely seasoned. The caeser salad (with optional anchovies!) had a nice amount of garlic tang and the anchovies (full filet strips) didn’t overwhelm a full forkful of salad. For dessert I had the butterscotch pound cake with vanilla ice cream rolled in pecans, and again, the portion size was exuberant without being over the top.
Other hits included flounder or spots stuffed with crab which came with a lot more crab than any of us expected.
$300 for seven including wine or mixed drink and dessert for each of us. Great value for the dollar.

This is the fanciest restaurant I’ve been to! The service is great. All the food and wine we had was really really good and it has raised my standards for salmon at every restaurant I’ll go to from now on. I’d come here again if I had the money! 🙂

Delicious dinner at Franco’s per usual! The food is always great. Didn’t get a picture of the zucchini appetizer but it’s one of our favorites along with their meatballs! Our server was attentive and kind. We will be back again soon!

I really expected better from this place. I had the salmon stuff with crab. The crab was crunchy. Just did not taste right
With that being said, I should’ve ordered pasta at an Italian not fish shouldn’t be on their menu

We recently hosted an event at Franco’s. Joe set us up with the most delicious food and in such a timely manner. All of our guests commented on the high quality of the food and on the service. Michelle hosted our event. She was quick, accurate and efficient. We will definitely return for any occasion!

We stopped in on Wednesday night around 8:30PM, around 30 mins before the kitchen closes, but that was not a problem. Our server was quick and efficient. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. I had the Chicken Parmesan – three big pieces, plus a salad, and a side of pasta. My partner in crime had scallops scallops (she has a shrimp allergy so they substituted scallops for shrimp) with nine scallops for $26 – what a bargain and delicious. We had so much food we had it for lunch the next two days. Will definitely return. Trust me – you’re going to love it!

This is a hidden gem. Well not sure if it’s “hidden” since they are well known. My sister and I went on a whim, and didn’t know you needed reservations. They sat us, and the service was phenomenal. They were packed all night and we appreciate them sitting us. We know to make reservations now. The food was absolutely delicious. Jamie Lynn was our server and she was super helpful and wonderful. They treated us like family, from the food to the service. Highly recommend, just make sure you call a week ahead for reservations. I recommend the chicken Lucca.

Go to italian spot in mcmurray. We had the fried ravioli appetizer that was a hit for the wife. For dinner I had the 18oz ribeye cooked medium rare which was more rare than medium rare but it was delicious with the mashed potatoes. She had the chicken parm and loved it. Caesar salad and the lobster bisque were great. All in this is a great spot to hit for a dinner date night.

I should start off by saying the food is so consistently exceptional, it nearly needs its own review. This is my attempt at keeping it brief. That being said, the Filet Oscar on a bed of asparagus with hollandaise, had the most lump, delicious jumbo-crab meat I’ve ever had at a restaurant of this caliber. I ordered my filet rare, and it was perfectly cooked to temperature. The asparagus was so delicious, it had a crisp crunchiness I wasn’t expecting. This was definitely not the blanched, bland asparagus some other restaurants put out. My boyfriends entree, the Spots, was phenomenal as well, and came highly recommended. The calamari appetizer reels me in every time and it truly is the best in the area hands-down. It’s a must-have no matter what entree you follow-up with. We got dessert to-go, and I can’t wait to dig in.
On to Lisa: Our server Lisa was a ray of sunshine on a cold winter date-night! She had a refill of iced-tea ready for me just as I finished my last. She was quick with the orders, boxing everything up, and genuinely looked pleased to be helping us. When we couldn’t decide on a side or selection, she guided us to the tastiest option. We never felt rushed and if we needed anything we knew she’d be right over. I am a full-time server and immediately recognized her timing was impeccable. Overall, she was quick, pleasant and perfect. Bravo and well done, Lisa.
This trattoria is 100% worth every penny – the value is spot-on. Thanks Franco’s, everything was wonderful.

I wanted to love this. I really did. But the dinner started with recycled butter bread the waiter brought from another table. When I brought it to someone’s attention, they offered me a meatball with a half hearted apology. I stayed because I was told the food was amazing. It wasn’t that great, I should have taken the hint with the used bread being served. Sadly I won’t be returning.
