We finally tried Francisco’s after months of waiting. My boyfriend called and ordered and went and picked it up and when he got home, we realized we were missing half of our order so that was a bummer but when he went back, they were super apologetic. We both got the steak fajita bowl, and we also tried a torta. The torta was good but small for the price. However, the steak fajita bowl was huge, and we both got several meals out of it. The meat was very tender and juicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back!

Francisco’s Mexican Taqueria is a great choice. Large menu with some interesting options (note that all drink options are carbonated). Staff is kind and attentive. Fun Mexican atmosphere, with hats and flags galore. Food is made fresh, served hot and servings are generous. Seating is limited, so I would not recommend if you have a large group. Overall, this restaurant is a must for fans of authentic Mexican food.

I think there could be some adjustments that would make it better. We ordered twice from there, food is delicious. However, paying $23 for one empanada when the restaurant says “empanadas” is a bit deceiving. If it came with the rice and beans that would make it worth the price, but 1 empanada for $23 was not worth it. We had to order the rice and beans on the side which added an extra $12
to the price. The food is so good but the pricing and online menu could use some work. Let the customers know what they are paying for up front. I will say the fajitas is always worth the price. Plenty of meat and veggies along with toppings. But also make sure you receive what you ordered because we had to go back a 2nd time because of missing items.

Good spot for an authentic Mexican meal on the East side of Erie, PA. This place makes you feel like you are transported to a restaurant in Mexico. They offer such a great value meal. My fajita dish would last me 2 meals.
The salsa that came with free chips was very fresh and tasty. Tried out several of their delicious tacos, a burrito and a steak fajita. Chorizo taco and shrimp taco are my most favorite dishes.
They offer both dine in and takeout.
There are plenty of seatings inside.

Best tacos in Erie!! Nice cozy place to dine and eat. Additionally the workers are very sweet and food is inexpensive. Free chips & salsa with your meal!! Highly recommend coming here, it’s a hidden gem! The cow tongue taco and pork al pastor is amazing. Also get the Birria, they have it on the weekends!!

If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, this is the place! Everything about our dining experience was amazing. We were seated with no waiting and ordered a plate of nachos with chicken to share. It was brought to our table by the cook and was a huge portion. Had to take a pic! Service was excellent with several staff checking on us. The nachos were delicious with some left over to take home in a box. With no alcohol available (soda drinks only), our total bill was less than $20.00. We will definitely be back again to try other items on their menu. If you haven’t been to this restaurant, check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Francisco’s Mexican Taqueria, a delightful spot that has quickly become my favorite. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm decor made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. Now, let’s talk about the food! The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Mexican dishes. I highly recommend the tacos al pastor—perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The guacamole was also a highlight, fresh and creamy, paired perfectly with their homemade tortilla chips.
