Decided to come here while we were house shopping. Good decision, this place was great, service was good, food tasted good and didn’t break the bank. Steak and eggs were great, wasn’t too sure about the mushroom sauce they put on it. Next time i would ask for no mushroom sauce. They also had a good assortment of ice-cream for after lunch.

If you’re looking for breakfast in Cambridge, this restaurant is a very solid choice. The menu is expansive and very fairly priced, especially when compared to larger chain restaurants that are nearby. The quality of the food is also very good. It isn’t 5-star dining, but it isn’t trying to be. It’s quality home style cooking. The service is fast and friendly as well. An excellent place to eat overall.

First time eating here. Really good food. I got the Scrambler, and it was delicious! The coffee was good, but not the best. My girlfriend got the French toast plate, and said it was very good. Reasonable prices, great environment. Likely to return.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Francis’ in Cambridge on my journey to Cleveland. The breakfast I got was so good and I was really impressed by the options. They treated us very well even though we came right before closing. They did not act like we were an inconvenience. I had the whole place to myself and they answered any of my questions I had. It was so good that I plan on stopping in regularly when I pass through because of my first experience and sheer volume of their menu. There is more goods to be had at Francis’ and I can’t wait to try it.

I went in for a late breakfast and ordered the Country Omelette with home fries which was good but the portions left a lot to be desired. The service was top notch! However, at the beginning I asked for a drink list from the bar(was told they didn’t have one). I ordered a PBR beer which was $3.75,at least a 300% mark-up, a Jim Beam neat (pored out of a jigger,no biggie) no more than 1 1/4 ounce, which isn’t a big deal and ordered a second one. I asked out much they charged for each Jim Beam and was told $8! $16 for 2 small pours! If I knew that I wouldn’t have even ordered alcohol. You can buy a 1/5 sized bottle for less than that! Based on that I won’t be back! With tip, $42 for 1 person. I won’t be back.

We dropped in for lunch on a Tuesday, largely because they were the only restaurant open, but really glad we did. The outside is not memorable, but the food and quality of service from our server Rita was. Menu selection and portion size was good, my wife’s burger was cooked exactly as she liked it, and the fresh home made fries were really good.
There were locals eating there too, which is always a good sign. Would highly recommend.

I ordered White Chicken Chili and the Hot Roast Beef with mash potatoes and gravy. The Chili was okay but definitely wouldn’t call it “Chili” nor white, maybe call it Chicken Bean soup.
The Hot Roast Beef probably the worst Hot Roast beef I’ve had, the gravy had no Beef flavor and half the sandwich had no beef on it. The Mash Potatoes tasted like box potatoes.
The staff was very busy and friendly and the place was clean, should have ordered a burger.

There is credit card fee and Fox news on. There was no one there when we were, but they were making orange juice. The machine sound was not pleasant.

Party of 6, 5 different meals, all tasted and looked awesome. Great service by the waitresses, and a very engaged owner. We will definitely be back, and spread the word of how great it is.

My favorite place to get breakfast. It’s very family oriented, friendly and comfortable. The staff is great and service is very quick. We usually get the big breakfast and the kitchen splits it for myself and my friend. Its 3 eggs, 2 bacon strips, sausage, hashbrowns, 2 pancakes (we substitute french toast) and toast all for $12.00
