Never again! Are you freaking kidding me! I ordered 5 grinders takeout. They got 4 out of 5 wrong! It was $91 as they upcharged for every topping! Then the basic topping of lettuce they didn’t even put on the grinders! We were trying something new. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Better options…Zantos, 3 Figs or Suffield Pizza!

The dining room is tiny, not in a “cozy” sort of way. We had a party of 9 in January… when that front door opens, the entire dining room is frozen.

Our table covered the menu choices, however, the chicken and the shrimp were overly frozen and/or old. I’ve never had Chicken Francaise dinner I couldn’t eat, but… I’d take that off the menu there. So bitter, full of lemon seeds, chicken was string like… for the prices, I’d expect better. We will not return.

The food was good, our server was nice as well, and the service was good. Prices are a little high, but my bigger issue was that they charged me exactly 4% higher than the menu price for each item on our bill, and there was a note saying that you could save 4% by paying cash. When I asked the server why each item was 4% higher, she suggested that the owner might have updated the prices in the computer but updated menus aren’t in yet. I don’t believe this at all – almost every menu price was whole dollars but new prices aren’t at all? She had the chance to try to correct it before running my card, but didn’t; since it’s likely not her fault this didn’t impact her tip, but I don’t appreciate being upcharged over what is printed in the menu.

A recently renovated family restaurant with a personality like you’ve known them for a while. Although it is a petite dining area, it packs a ton of love and deliciousness. My experience included a penne dish with chicken, sausage, peppers and mushrooms (wine garlic sauce) as well as stuffed shells. Dessert was gelato, dough balls, dough balls and more dough balls, 3 dipping sauces and still enough to bring home.

Time On The Water
Did a pick up order for $66 so they forgot the linguine we called them and asked if they could credit it to us and basically said no that it was our problem unless we wanted to drive all the way back there and pick it up. They could’ve done anything else other than make their mistake our problem

As a proud Louisiananian, I’m used to bold flavors, and I often find that foods in the northern states can be a little bland. This place, however, is a delicious exception. From the crusty bread made in-house, to the best marinara I’ve ever had, the food was absolutely outstanding. Sitting outside with lovely music playing, the atmosphere was great.

Disappointing-First time I ever gave a 1 star review – if I could give a negative I would-Poor customer service- order was wrong- owner insisted order was correct, when was the customer wrong? I asked for 1/2 refund for a large pizza because the 1/2 that should have had extra cheese did not! The funny thing is the pizza was $40 and I asked for $20!- not even a full refund. Owner would not admit he was wrong! Then he wanted me to return the pizza- like I would lie over $20? I threw it out – it was inedible. Does this look like extra cheese? All my corporate luncheons, family Christmas dinners and every Friday night pizza business will be going elsewhere- Bad business and poor customer service – Do not recommend- Regards, Former Customer

I jus moved to the Suffield Ct area and love finding these great mom/pop Restaurants..this is one to chk out.. quality food and good service in a clean Restaurant. The menu has typical Italian fare but some good surprises as well.. love it here.. Well Done Francesco’s.!!

Came in here and only one table inside was being served and one outside. We weren’t acknowledged for close to ten mins to the point where it got awkward and we almost left. Wish we had. Staff was loud and inappropriate with their language in the kitchen. It’s a small place so it doesn’t take much for sound to travel out to the dining room. Side salad was decent served in a cold bowl which is nice. Fried mozz and bread were good but the eggplant was a pile of slop, drowned in sauce and very salty for some reason. It’s a cozy atmosphere so maybe if the staff is just taught how to behave in this environment and also acknowledge people when they walk in and the food is upgraded a bit, it would be better.
