This has been a great little restaurant since we first moved here 13 years ago. We have gone for our birthday dinners in the family. My experience tonight was probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. We had to ask for everything from the proper amount of utensils for our party to bread and dipping sauce and drinks, etc. every time we ask for something it was at least 10 to 15 minutes before our server would come back to the table. I couldn’t even eat because I didn’t have utensils. Our server just didn’t seem to understand what the problem was. It’s hard to put into words how bad the service was. I asked at least three times for every one of those items. I was watching her and there were many times she wasn’t doing anything. It’s like we would ask her for something and she was in a fog. We had to ask four times for the check just to pay. We were literally all standing at our table. When the matriarch of our family asked to speak to the owner, the table next to us was leaving and told us to complain on their behalf as well.
The condition of the restaurant is also poor. The ceiling fan with the exposed wires and a hole in the roof over our table. We talked to the owner and he seemed quite defensive. He kept saying how our food came out timely when that wasn’t the issue. It’s everything that happened before the food came out. If the waitress was working in my restaurant, she definitely would not have been keeping her job after last night. She must be related to the owner to stay employed there. I don’t think I’ll ever return.

I recently visited Francisco’s Pizza, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. To my dismay, both water drinks we ordered contained visible mold. This was not only unappetizing but also raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene standards.
When we brought this issue to the attention of the server at the register, the response was unsettlingly inadequate. Instead of addressing the problem or offering a solution, the server simply stared blankly, showing no sense of urgency or concern. This lack of response was baffling and only added to our disappointment.
Overall, the combination of moldy drinks and the staff’s indifference to the situation has left me with a very negative impression of Francisco’s Pizza. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and implements the necessary changes to ensure a better experience for future customers.

This place continues to disappoint. My recent takeout order was another miss. I got a simple white pizza and an Americana, but the Americana sat for 15 minutes because they messed up the white pizza order. Honestly, the staff seemed more interested in their phones and flirting with the cook than fixing mistakes. Frank, you really need to re-evaluate your hiring choices.

The food is great. Absolutely amazing. I am from the South so this is likely the first time I have ever had authentic Italian Food. What an experience. I’ve eaten at various Italian Restaurants over the years, but this spot is just different. Highly recommend.

We were looking for some pasta and new spot to try tonight and Google sent us to Francesco’s. It’s a cute little place with lots to choose from. The service was a little rough to say the least, my wife asked 2 different servers 4 total times for her drink and it never came and our son gave up after a second failed request. Our food took about 30 minutes to arrive, but we weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal. I figure we caught them on a bad night. Nevertheless, everyone enjoyed their pasta. Next time I’ll skip the Stromboli and just go for a pizza. I’ll still give them 4 star, the atmosphere was nice and while slow and forgetful, the staff was super friendly so there is that. 🙂

Really good pizza and super friendly service. I ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni & mushrooms and it was delicious! A really pleasant young girl greeted me and had the order ready at the counter. The pizza was well cooked with the crust, cheese and sauce all spot on. I added a side of sausage and peppers which was very good, but cut up and saucy. (I was expecting more of a grilled link) It tasted great and would have been delicious over spaghetti. The dining room was small but looked very traditional Italian and was super clean. I’m looking forward to going back to try additional items.

Francisco’s has the best pizza in Sarasota. New York style pizza and everything is made with good top quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and they have an excellent special on Thursday nights, two large pizzas for $29 with two topping each!
If you can dine in it has that little Italian restaurant feeling and atmosphere.

Walking up to the place it seemed like a normal New York style pizza place, as soon as I opened the door I immediately knew this place was going to be phenomenal!!!
The delicious aroma as soon as you walk in the door is undescribable but you can smell the quality and history before you taste anything!
I ordered chicken alfredo which is rare because I’ve never been to a place ever that could satisfy because I am so extremely picky on my alfredo because it’s one of the things I’m known for making. So without a doubt I’m telling you for the first time ever I found a place that could do a proper chicken alfredo in that does not need any salt pepper or any kind of seasoning whatsoever and it’s absolutely perfect even done with linguine which I also prefer!
The enjoyment I got out of this chicken alfredo is like no other I am so impressed with them I’m telling you please go try them Frank the owner was kind enough to talked with me while I was waiting for food to be completed wonderful guy with a wonderful staff accommodated one small request I asked and knocked this dish out of the park absolutely phenomenal!!!!
I will be back time in time again bravo!

First experience here was not a good one at all. Placed an online order at 5:20 that said it would be ready at 6:00. I was running late and got there at 6:30. Garlic bread was ready but pizza was not. They first blamed the online system then they found the order ticket and said it was not ready because I was late. They confirmed that it had not been made and given away or anything like that so I’m completely befuddled how my being late caused them to not make the pizza. Kinda surreal to be blamed for their mistake. We were starving and in a hurry so we still paid for the garlic bread which was really good and left me disappointed we didn’t get to try the pizza.
