I came here for a late lunch before I had to go into work, it was really slow at 3pm so I was seated right away. Music softly playing in the backround and the sweet aroma of Italian food. Made my mouth water walking in the door. Unfortunately there is no wine, but the food more than makes up for it. Generous portions. I started my meal with a very rich and flavorful tortellini soup. Followed by a small salad that came with my entree. Once finished with the salad I had the eggplant stuffed with ricotta and mushrooms, topped with mozzarella and marinara. It came with spaghetti as well. Had to take a break before dessert, which of course had to be their cannoli. For me this is what makes or breaks an Italian restaurant, when changed is why it one star shy from 5.

Cozy quite place. Great food with great service. We were a table of 12 and arrived 30 min before closing time. we we’re greated and seated without any issue. The waiter was very attentive and gave us a great experience. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Their olive oil and seasonings dipping is very good. I had the chicken marsala and it was good. Would have been better if the chicken had been breaded it was a plain chicken breast and was slightly dry.

Food is excellent! Pricing is very reasonable for quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Added bonus, you can bring your wine. It’s a family owned, which is another plus. Best traditional, gourmet quality Italian food I’ve had in a very long time. Will go again and recommend.

I love how all the negative reviews for Francesco’s recommend the same place instead. Francesco’s food is wonderful the sauces and chicken and etc that people claim must be frozen and canned are actually made in house by the chefs (who do a wonderful job at getting fresh hot dinners out quickly). The menu was recently revamped and some things changed like the salads now have black olives, mozzarella, tomato, and croutons if you dont like something just let the server know and they will happily bring you what you ask for. I highly recommend trying it or giving it another try if you had a less than happy experience.

Based on all the great reviews, we decided to eat dinner here. I think this is a local favorite and perhaps the locals haven’t had the opportunity to dine at authentic Italian restaurants. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with our dining experience. The food was not good. The Alfredo sauce tasted like canned condensed milk. The fettuccine was like card board, the lasagna was one noodle covered with hamburger and tomato sauce then sprinkled with cheese. Also, the service was disappointing as well. If you have a palette for fine Italian food, you will be disappointed eating here.

My friends and I went to Francesco’s for dinner to see if this restaurant’s food was good enough to order for a Christmas family get together in December. We were surprised to find it was much larger than it appeared from its exterior in a strip center and had a very nice décor. Service was prompt and attentive. We ordered shrimp scampi, chicken Alfredo, and a veal dish, and they were each prepared very well and delicious! The shrimp was cooked to perfection and very flavorful and tender. The rolls were light and very good. Based on our experience, our Granite Shoals friend plans to get the food for her family get together at this very nice family restaurant.
