As with most of the high end restaurants in the valley, you have to expect premium prices for the premium experience, but it is easy to cross $100/meal with drinks at Foxy’s.
I brought my hubby here for his birthday and they had a birthday card waiting doe him. At the very beginning, he said, “ok I’m totally digging this atmosphere. Our drinks were great, I had the “Yes Chef” while my hubby had an old fashion.
The calamari strips were tender on the outside and the thin breading was crispy. The stuffed mushrooms were crazy good, the sauce, we both could have been uncouth and licked the plate, it was that good.
The scallops with the lemon sauce and pasta were so very well flavored and yhe pasta, perfecto. The scallops were a bit smaller than we’d wanted especially for the price point.
The lemon sauce Salmon was so delicious, like butter. The cut was rather small, again for the price point, should have been a bigger slice.
Salads were delicious, both the wedge and roasted beet were so well prepared. Id say a wee bit less arugula to beet ratio, but still so delicious and fresh.
Finally the birthday flour-less cake was to die for, foe any self respecting chocoholic. The coconut cream meringue pie was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet and the crust, I swear was sourdough pie crust, if not however I still loved it. The cream to meringue could have been closer, but that’s just being nitpicky.
Overall, this was an amazing experience especially for my hubby’s special day. We will most certainly be coming back, there’s so many dishes WE want to try.
Thank you to the owners for stopping by and talking with us. Until next time.
Not only were we pre-granted the legendary Frank Sinatra table, but Tim and Teri themselves made sure we had an unforgettable experience. They were so attentive and took care of our every whim – talk about feeling like royalty!
And the food? Wow! Every single dish was bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. We were seriously impressed with every course, from the appetizers to the desserts.
Foxy’s has this amazing blend of classic charm and modern sophistication. It’s one-of-a-kind, and we totally get why it’s such a hot spot.
Five stars just don’t cut it for this place!
A huge thank you to Lola, our waitress, who was fantastic. She was super friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a fantastic time. And of course, a massive shout-out to Tim and Teri for making Lisa’s birthday so special. We’ll definitely be back for more!
To begin with the way, they tried to tell me they didn’t have a certain type of whiskey when I was staring at it above the bar about 20 feet away, saying there’s the whiskey.
Then, there was a 48 minute delay from after our salads and appetizers till the time we got our meal.
The restaurant wasn’t busy.
What is needed to make this a good restaurant is training. Their staff needs to be trained properly. Otherwise, I thought the place had a good vibe to it.
