Good cozy and calm location. If looking for the vibes, Foxtail will work. However we got two Caffe Lattes — the milk was not steamed well and the coffee was bitter and lacking a balance of sweetness.

First time here this afternoon (7/24). great little place. Despite being in the heart of the growing downtown Ada village, and its massive windows giving a sweeping vista of the quaint streets, its a nice cozy place to work, study, or simply sip a cup of your favourite coffee drink while reading, or catching up with friends. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about espresso (a requirement for me). I would recommend this place but I want to keep it to myself. LOL!

Wow! The BEST coffee in Grand Rapids! Great family atmosphere, kid friendly, games too.

And they know a thing or two about dog hospitality. Love taking in the morning with great cold brew, a good book and our pups. Bre & Mack inside always takes good care of us!

The atmosphere was great! We loved all the glass and sitting by the fireplace. I enjoyed the coffee and muffin but found it a bit pricey. The staff was very unfriendly! There was a man and a women and neither of them were very friendly!

Nice atmosphere, delicious coffee, outrageous pricing!! Ordered a 16oz seasonal latte and was charged $9.21!! This price would shock me in a big city but here in West Michigan it is down right laughable! Almost ordered a muffin but happened to see the price for that beforehand and opted to save myself $2 and instead walked right over to Sprinkles where they are an affordable $2.50 and delicious!!

First time visit was wonderful. Such a gorgeous location with inviting decor. Exceptional service and my pistachio latte was delicious, too. Thank you!

The building itself is lovely. The inside of the coffee shop is gorgeous. Feels like you walked right into a movie. Not too many non coffee drinks. But they do have hot choclate and wifi. Around 830/9 on a Wednesday it was hard to concentrate on my laptop tho. So not a good place to study. Great to socialize tho.

I showed up for the grand opening, was greeted by multiple staff, and handed a swag bag. Everything was clean and organized and the staff was very friendly. The coffee was great! I ordered a vanilla caramel cold brew, an iced coffee light ice, and a green tea. The tea had a sweetness to it that was definitely welcomed. I will absolutely be coming here again.

Welp, Foxtail unfortunately just lost my business. This coffee shop has become a frequent for me and my husband. The atmosphere is cozy, the drinks are typically pretty good, and as night shift workers, we’re often hard pressed to find date spots and places to go to get work done. Over the past few months my experience has been on the steady decline, receiving my dine-in affogato in a dixi cup, often getting coffee grounds in my drink, and the atmosphere overall shifting to be less inviting. But tonight I went to get some work done and the barista had several friends at the counter who were hanging out, cussing up a storm, receiving free food and being exceptionally distracting as I am sipping my espresso $8 espresso out of a dixi cup. And then at 7:50 I am shocked to hear that they are now closing at 8 instead of 9. Since it’s not worth my time to drive there, order, and get any real work done, I no longer have a great reason to go and pay for expensive subpar coffee

Location, Food, Drinks, and Service:
5 out of 5

Layout / Design of the space:
ZERO out of 5.

The interior space is awkward. The seating area is 25% of the area that it should be.

With the need for entrances from both sides, the ordering and pickup being on opposite ends of the counter, plus the restrooms and “back of the house” there’s nowhere left to go. The patrons just sit awkwardly in the middle of the room like a book perched dangerously on a window shelf.

This room needs a piano, some books, a few couches. There should be more love and warmth inside this space.

This place could be awesome, but it needs to feel cozy instead of feeling like an airport Starbucks.
