This was my first time here and OMG what a great place to discover. Basically, this is a hidden gem I got myself a delicious Roast Beef sandwich. The place owners Alex and his brother are a great people. Will visit again soon

We stopped in for breakfast on 7/1/23. We were quickly greeted and seated. The staff was friendly, polite and respectful. We had the Standard Breakfast with over easy eggs, pastrami & latkes and the LEO Platter – an amazing omelet (no cheese) with lox. Delicious !! We had fresh toasted bagels with each meal. A shout out to our waiter Kenny W. – a terrific guy, attentive, knowledgeable and a great asset to the deli.

Went here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with my mother and father. We were all expecting the incredible Fox’s of old, and we were all disappointed.

Hidden gem in the Rochester. Been here twice. Food is fantastic and was extremely consistent. Service was prompt and friendly. Being from jersey/nyc area this place is a little taste of home. It’s hard to find breakfast spots where the food doesn’t taste like lowest quality stuff you can find. This is the spot we’ve been looking for. Everything has been great. The joe bean coffee is very good. I even grabbed some cookies on the way out and it was the best snickerdoodle I’ve ever had. And the pastrami!

The new owners are doing great with this staple of a deli! Same quality you would expect, super friendly, and now even some gluten-free options, which I super appreciate! Like these almond paste cookies.. amazing. They also have a super rare treat usually only found in nyc. Have to stop in and check it out!

Great service and pleasant atmosphere. The mish mosh soup, latkes, and potato knish were solid. The best dish we tried was the cabbage roll. The sweet and sour soup was not great, tasted strangely like ketchup. The last time I visited, we had a delicious Reuben, which I highly recommend.

OMG – spectacular!!!!! Moved here from Philly, which is known for delicatessens, and Fox’s is like being “home.” Great menus with tons of options and reasonable prices. Great friendly service. We WILL BE BACK, OFTEN.

This is a beautiful lunch and breakfast place. I typically only go for lunch. I go fairly regularly. It’s always been a great and pleasant experience. One of my favorite dishes is the cabbage roll in their broth and noodle only chicken soup. We need a good deli sandwich you cannot go wrong with this place.

It’s pretty good. I’ve never had a problem with the food and I will go back, but the food doesn’t exactly stand out either. Sandwich wise, anyone can make the exact same sandwiches at home for cheaper. Potato pancakes were very good, but I think my favorite in town is Polska Chata. The best Reuben in town is, so far in my experience, Steve’s Diner.
