This is such a fun place to eat at. Initially, I was worried about bringing kids or family to a “bar,” but it’s more of an eating atmosphere than bar. There is of course adult beverages, though, if thats your jive. The staff was really amazing and welcoming. I am handicapped and their establishment is well equipped to suit my needs in a wheelchair. The food was delicious and I suggest getting some “pub” sauce on the side (it’s so delicious), and eating it with your fries or chips! 10/10 will try again.

Fish and chips were just okay. Fries were better than fish. Fish had a very strong flavor and it was not very well drained. Coleslaw was minuscule. I would go back but definitely would try something different.
Service was excellent. Dessert was tasty.

The waitress was wonderful! I ordered the Duke of Wellington sandwich. The brisket was dry and hard to chew. I wanted a gluten free bun, however they charge an extra $3.00 for that, in addition to a sandwich that is already $17.95. So, I ended up with a sandwich I really couldn’t eat. However, the fries were good, and the spicy cauliflower was wonderful!

This may be about the only British themed restaurant I have ever seen in most of the United States! The food was excellent! I tried their poutine. The fries have excellent flavor! Also, their toffee bread pudding was positively amazing! I would come back!

This is a hidden gem. Food is awesome, especially the fish in chips. Great beer, nicely decorated, large TVs playing the games, and a lovely patio in summer! Staff is friendly too!

Our daughter had been raving about this place and encouraging us to try it out. We were delighted with everything! I had the fish and chips and my husband had the hamburger ( maybe smash burger?). Both were delicious as were the fries. We had a delightful cheerful waiter, who checked on us regularly, but was not overly present. The atmosphere is very English Pub, which we loved.
We will definitely go back.
( They offer a variety of lunch specials for $11.99. We opted to have the larger dinner size.)

Awesome service! The food was refreshing change with more on menu than I expected. Nice to have somewhere that offers more than burgers and fries. The fish Bap sandwich was delicious! Fresh flaky batter and house chips were great. Even took some curbies to go!

Absolutely loved this place, will definitely be back. Went for an anniversary dinner, both me and my boyfriend loved our drinks and entrees. I loved their beer cheese that comes with their pretzel bites and the carrot cake was the best I’ve had. Amazing staff and atmosphere. I’ll be recommending this place to friends and family!

What does the Fox say? Arrroooooooo (in a British Accent)! What does that translate to? It’s a bit long-winded, so bear with me.

*In a British accent* “Hello, savvy reader. If you love some good British food and are in the central Illinois region, The Fox is right up your alley.”

“Their entire menu is British-themed and so is the pub. While the pub itself isn’t overloaded with British things, you can tell it’s got a British vibe while not being too gauche.”

“The food is delectable. Exquisite.”

“Mmmm, yes.”

Wow, the fox had a lot to say!

Do I agree with the Fox? Yes. My friends and I came here and loved every bit of it. The service was fantastic and the place felt welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Chipotle Beefeater Brisket and it was phenomenal. We sampled my friends Hummus and while I am not big on hummus, we all agreed it was great. Everyone gushed over how great their food was. Another perfect example that bar/pub food is the best food.

I sadly didn’t get a ton of photos as I was focused on hanging out with my friends. I will snap a few more the next time I go.

Be aware that if you do visit that they have Trivia on Thursdays nights. We tried to come here on one of those nights and it was packed and they suggested we come back another time due to it being too busy.

So if you need your Bangers and Mash or Fish and Chips fix and are in the Peoria area, this is the perfect place for you.
