Stopped there for lunch on 4/28/2023. We are local, shop local, and stop there many times. Great atmosphere. Prices are good. However, at times it appears to be a chore for the bartender to serve us. Whether it be drink or food. Lacking personality, and perhaps a smile would be nice. If you want people to shop local, than invite them in with open arms, a smile on your face, and a have a great day and thanks for stopping in, see you again soon. The bartender did not even ask how our food was. Accepted our payment. Never said thank you. Seen us leave, and never said have a nice day, nice weekend, nothing. It was like a chore for her to serve us and just simply be at work. Might have to reconsider shopping local.

First time here, perfect place to stop after we went swimming at the Omro Aquatic Center, very close. Bacon cheeseburger with white cheese curds & ranch. I actually had the option of choosing white or yellow curds, haven’t had the choice before! Lemonade was really good. Burger was juicy. Prices were expected, not too high. Friendly staff and clean. There was an outdoor patio too. Will be back!

Went around lunch time. The place was mildly busy but not packed. We waited 10 minutes for the server/bartender to even acknowledge us. We ordered a combo basket and a cup of soup. At no point was it stated that it would be over an hour for us to get our food. Once an hour passed we asked if she had an idea of how much longer it would be for our food. She said it was down and that it would be out shortly. Both my husband and I have worked in a restaurant setting so we are patient but when we waited an additional 20 minutes my husband asked if we could pay for our drinks so we could leave the bartender started yelling at him saying “you can clearly see that we are busy and have one cook” there were tables ordered after us that had been served. My husband responded that all he wanted to do was pay for our drinks. The bartender then shouted “whatever” and stormed off into the kitchen. We did not intend for it to take an hour and a half for fried bar food and ended up leaving hungry as we did not have the time to wait any longer at that point. The wait alone would not have been so bad if we had had a warning and the bartender had been kinder. At no point we’re we rude or loud with the bartender but we were treated with complete disrespect

I wouldn’t even give it that. If you wanted the typical toppings on your Berger you have to pay extra. I believe it should come with ketchup and mustard for now charge. And they also charge .50 for take out. Seriously.

Stopped to have a burger… got our sodas…placed our order… waited 45mins… no one came to check on us… flagged our waitress to see how much longer for our food…she said another ten mins. They had a large takeout order… could have let us know so we could decide whether we wanted to stay or not… charged us for our sodas after we waited over 50mins…! Not happy!

When it comes to bars in Wisconsin my expectations are pretty low as far as service and food goes. However, Fox Haus was a pleasant surprise. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was good. The burgers were all made nicely and the fries and appatizer were both better than expected. The place looks bigger from the outside than it is on the inside. Overall I would recommend this place.

We liked it. We been there before and we will be back We went in as soon as they opened after the local football game with 4 adults and 3 kid’s, they served us right away with a smile. Definitely a plus.
