I was searching for a gluten-free place near me as I traveled a little further north than I usually would go. My breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I didn’t want an overly huge feast, and so the selections I got were naturally perfect. You can tell by the portions and the presentation that food is top tier. The sausage was cut, cooked thoroughly. The gluten free bread they had displayed a great non-cardboard type texture, probably containing egg (I usually like those types more). I loved the hazelnut sugar-free coffee I got. I adored the local art, books and especially the overall inclusive cozy ambiance with the fox drawings, LGBTQ flags, and friendly staff. The gentleman managing this place is very down to Earth and personable. This is not some huge, drawn out diner with a ten page menu… This is a place with quality, purpose, and spirit. I will definitely be back with others .

Ate breakfast here this morning. It wasn’t busy so we were first at the register. The cashier was very friendly and informative. We ordered two breakfasts, two pastries, and two drinks. The total was $50 and I think that was a good price. The cook brought our food out and my sweet potato bowl had balsamic vinegar drizzled all over it, which was NOT listed on the menu and I can’t have vinegar. The cook took my food away when I tried to explain I couldn’t have vinegar and walked away without saying anything. I went up to the counter and told the cashier about what happened and she said she would handle it. She came over to our table and explained that the cook wasn’t upset, just nonchalant which, why have someone interacting with customers when they don’t know how, but she also let us know that they would be remaking it, and letting the owner know that it might be an issue in the future & apologized. I waited a bit longer but when the food came out it was vinegar free & delicious. The sweet cashier was great and the food was delicious but maybe have the ingredients listed on the menu to accommodate allergies.

This place is an absolute gem. It’s small, maybe 7 small tables? It’s charming, cozy, and full of character. You order at the counter, grab a number, and find a table while they bring the food to you. It’s a relaxed, no-frills setup that works beautifully if you’re not in a rush. If you are, just be prepared to wait a while when it’s busy
When we arrived, there was a long line, but the staff member taking orders was incredibly patient and thorough, walking each guest through the menu with care. It made the wait longer, but it also showed how much they value each customer’s experience.
Food: I started with a cup of soup (crab corn chowder) that was piping hot, fresh, and generously portioned—plenty to share with my daughter. The fried pickles came with an aioli that was very very good. (We chose Chipotle) But the real standout was the eggplant handheld. I think I’ve found my new favorite sandwich. Very fresh and flavorful. I brought the other half home from my husband and he absolutely loved it. We are going to have to go back.
If you’re looking for a quick bite, this might not be your spot during peak hours. But if you’ve got time to savor the experience, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely back. Can’t wait to try other items on ther menu!

Hi!! I absolutely loved this place! My family and I went after visiting the Shrine of St Anthony and it was just a perfect lunch spot! My mom got a soup (I’m sorry I can’t remember), my brother got a burger, and I got the most delicious citrus and avocado salad with salmon!!
We picked this spot because my brother wanted a burger but since he was sick the day before, I knew he needed something hearty but not oily that would hurt him. We are so happy to have picked this place because the burger did him so well! He hadn’t eaten and kept something down, but the quality and freshness of the meat and all the ingredients were wonderful!
My salad was so delicious! I decided to try something new and I am so happy I did! The grapefruit and lemon wheels with the house made dressing and the fresh veggies, just a wonderful flavor combination. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The salmon was perfectly seasoned.
My mom had the soup, which she loved as well! She ate it with a croissant which she enjoyed a lot.
I’m so genuinely happy with the food and service given. Just wonderful. We went at about 3pm and there was not many people. Definitely looking forward to go again!

This review’s a little overdue, but we had an amazing time at Fox & Barrel Farmhouse back in May.

The vibe was relaxed and inviting; rustic in all the right ways. It was quiet for a Friday morning, and the space feels like the kind of spot you could easily hang out for hours. They also have a big outdoor seating area that looks great for events or gatherings.

Food was excellent across the board. Between the four of us, we ordered a breakfast sandwich, French toast, a breakfast bowl, and some chicken wings to go, along with four bottles of water. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The total came to around $75, which felt more than fair for the quality and portion sizes.

Service was top-notch. Eitan took great care of us and really added to the experience with his friendly and attentive approach.

If you’re looking for a chill spot with great food and service, this place is worth a visit.

This is one of those hidden gems that you’ll never forget about. Definitely one of the best meals my wife and I have had in awhile. I got a 5 star burger and she got a breakfast bowl. Both were melt in your mouth. Shout out to the owner/ chef for a job well done. We will certainly be back

Please visit this little treasure! The gentleman serving me was so kind and even checked on me outside to see how the food was. We had a great conversation before he had to assist another customer. This is the small town intimate setting I crave. So glad I found this place today! Will be back!

I was greeted right away. They have vegetarian and vegan options. I got a egg, potato, vegan sausage wrap with aloi sauce on the side. It was delicious. All the people and (we met the owner) were wonderful and so nice. The atmosphere was great. They have local art displayed and for sale. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere was it was chilly inside. However they turned up the heat and it got toasty.
Id highly recommend. Ill be back and im bringing friends!

The first few times I went to this restaurant. It was very good! The food was on point… The service was wonderful. Unfortunately over the last year all of that has changed. Every single time I go now there is an issue with my food either not being cooked well or definitely not being fresh. I was given a plate of vegetables that were clearly frozen and then microwaved. On their menu, it says they are seasonal vegetables… So I would not expect that at all. I’ve been given salmon that’s nearly raw in the middle… Literally cold. And on the last two occasions of me being there, both of my wraps were dripping with sauce to the point that it was just disgusting to have to deal with. I really wish that this restaurant would get it back together. They did such a great job at first. I definitely will not be going back anytime soon.

Another excellent addition to the collection of small independent restaurants making delicious food. Be patient, it’s a small place so the food might take longer to get ready, but you’ll get your money’s worth.

Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. That burrito will keep you full all day and carry you into your late night snack.
