Fox and The Hen is inspired by a love of all things breakfast aka #MorningStuff. Here, we believe all the best things happen in the morning: sunrises, coffee drinks, small breakfast burritos tucked in large breakfast burritos and walks of shame. Born out of Carrie Baird and Michael Fox’s true love for classic American breakfast served with lighthearted twists and an equal passion of all things boozy-brunch-drinks, Fox & The Hen is your new LoHi all-day breakfast concept. Our focus is bringing friends and family together, incredibly delicious (and fun!) food, creative beverages and having everyone who leaves the Fox & the Hen feel their day is better than when they came in.

Anyway, food was delicious and unique, I loved the smothered burrito and pbj French toast. It was a little overpriced, and I strongly dislike the automatic gratuity facet, but I would still come back.
Bloody Mary- One of the best, if not the best, I’ve ever had. Perfect mixture that I didn’t know existed. It does.
Sando- Fried chicken was lightly battered so you can taste the actual chicken part of the chicken. Potato bun puffed back up when you pressed it down with your finger. I think that’s a thing? Seems like that means it’s really really good. Ham was better than all ham from all Christmas’s combined. Mustard aioli was fantastic, the cheese was cheesy The sandwich came out Hot and Fries were crisp.
Bartender/Barista- Food probably could have sucked and Oli would still have made the visit worth coming back. Food was superb, so his attitude and humor made it even better. The other tender was awesome, too.
I’m full and happy while writing this. Well worth the drive, time, money, every penny.
10 Stars.
– Lavender lemonade mimosa on the mimosa flight
– the animal style hash brown
– quality tortillas
– our waiter with the face paint
What we didn’t like:
– the Big Mac omelette
– the chorizo tacos
– the other three flavors in the mimosa flight
We sat a wobbly, janky table outside- super close to other couples in the tables next to us.
The dishes were inspired but not executed well.
The tacos needed acidity to cut through the spice and fat of the chorizo and sour cream.
The French omelette was too rich and light on the stomach. Put the hash brown under neath the omelette to add more texture and scrap the fries.
Expensive and if you look underdressed they will underserve. They will seat you late and at a wobbly table.
Other restaurants to try instead of this one
– Nonos Cajun restaurant in Littleton
– Butcher block for more casual
100% try the spicy egg salad on the potato crisp- you’ll want 2.
Seasonal lemonade was stellar, the Big Mac omelet was fluffy (will ask for extra pickles on top next time).
Charming little neighborhood eatery, fun decor and staff- looking forward to visiting again.
Honestly, I love the savory French toast, sausage McMuffin, and animal style hashbrowns. The large amount of hot sauce is also pretty amazing.
