Ordered two steak and cheese subs with mushrooms & a large pizza and this is what I got. There is more lettuce and mushrooms than steak. I don’t even know if there is steak on this sub. Very disappointing especially since I spent almost $50 on my order. Next time I’ll just make it at home.

Yanno, your pizza WAS good, but you just lost my buisness. I ordered a steak sub and they barely put any steak on it. I feel disgusted, like I just ate a thin slice of melted cheese on a whole sub roll. Do better.

NEVER AGAIN! Last night around 9:30 I ordered 2 12inch subs & App Sampler. Pretty simple, grilled chicken with lettuce tomato onion & Extra Mayo easy right? NOT FOR FOUR STAR OIL CITY! My husbands sub didn’t even have mayo ON IT! It was all over the aluminum foil, I mean like just slapped on! Plus the deep fried appetizers were SO SOGGY! I called today for them to make it right & the gentleman told me because I didn’t call last night, even tho it was closed by time we got our food & went to eat it, there was “nothing he can do” Even though I have photos, my receipt & STILL HAVE THE NASTY SUB! $30 later & only got to eat one sub! Horrible, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!

The best item on the menu are the salads. Large, decent amount of meat and other toppings.
The pizza is ok, nothing great nothing horrible
The wings are soft, soggy, very small, but they do have a good flavor to them.
The subs are horrible, almost no meat or topping. Basically you’re just getting a loaf of bread.
Staff and drivers are friendly but they get very busy.

Pizza and subs are great… IF you can get them the way you ORDERED.. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! Don’t even bother calling in to complain if they got it WRONG AGAIN. The manager is the WORST EVER! He told me “oh well”!

—-EDIT—- so for the past few months, the wife and I have decided to give this establishment another try. I am always for upgrading and updating my reviews. Four-star has really turned itself around since the last time I posted my review. Prior to this edit we’ve had so much trouble with four-star that I gave up on them all together.
The place was being ran poorly, by a manager who could care less about the customers. I am happy to report that this has all changed! I have made well over 20 different orders testing each one to see how they do. There has been a few mistakes, but nothing serious.
The staff are all very friendly, And professional.
I have not had to interact with a manager at all. If my order was incorrect, or a mistake was made, it has been corrected every time without question.
All I can say is keep up the great work Four-star!

If I had one complaint that the general manager would take note of… It would be too please use fresh lettuce every day with every order.
You can tell when lettuce has been sitting in the cooler overnight, it ruins the order. I have to scrape the lettuce off into the garbage just to enjoy my meal. Other than that you’re doing a great job at running this place please keep up the great work!

Wish they didn’t take out the Franklin location bc I used to go right by there about 6/8 times a year and stop in. Now I prob will only stop once a year since oil city location is much further away. I travel about an hour to get the pizza, I won’t go further.
