Came here last night with my wife after passing by it for so long, so glad we tried it! The Pre-Fixe menu has something for everyone and everything we had was great, the short rib and meatball appetizers were fantastic, my steak was very juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection, and my wife’s chicken parm was delicious! The sauce was a real standout. I am a sucker for a place with good bread and 4 Star Cafe’s bread is amazing! The cannoli cake was the cherry on top of an already fantastic dinner. The service and atmosphere were great and very cozy. Can’t wait to try this place again with some friends.

Four Star Cafe in Congers, NY, is a cozy gem! My wife and I stopped by without a reservation, and the owner happily accommodated us despite being full. The restaurant is clean, has a nice bar, a good wine list, and the food was absolutely delicious. The friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I believe this place is really trying but is falling short of it’s potential. Congers desperately needs a cool bar that has a great atmosphere and great drinks. I would think that Congers is ready for a bar that does not have a huge, glaring TV behind it that is showing some sport or another.
This place is cute and the bar is Beautiful- shiny and super clean. The drinks are very good- the bartender was nice and she knew her stuff. The lighting is good, the music is way too loud and the playlist is catering to older GenZ who like bands like Journey. Basically, it is the same as any other bar in the Congers/New City area. When this place opened, I was really hoping for something different. Alas, it is a carbon copy right down to the LED light strips in bright blue that don’t match any other color or vibe in the room. Just a few changes like a better music selection that is played at a lower volume, 86 the LED lights and the TV and we would have a casually classy place that stands out from every other bar in town.
The menu looked intriguing but I didn’t try it. The manager (owner?) is very nice and seems on the sweet side. It’s worth a try especially if you frequent and enjoy other bars around here but just need something closer to home.

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. The staff is always friendly and making you feel like you’re at home. The food is consistently great. I don’t think I have had a bad meal there. The bar is beautiful, and honestly they make the best drinks. The bartenders are always friendly and making sure our drinks are nothing less than perfect. i couldn’t recommend this place enough. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I’ve heard great things about this place and I’m really looking forward to checking it out soon. The menu looks fantastic—so many tempting options that it’s hard to choose!
One small issue I noticed while browsing the menu online: the auto-scroll feature keeps moving to the next page before I can finish reading. It’s a bit frustrating, and it would be great if there were a way to pause or disable it so guests can take their time.
That said, I’m giving it 5 stars based on the buzz and the menu alone. I’ll be sure to update this review after my visit to share the full experience!

Pretty disappointing the pizza was sub-standard. Artichoke appetizer was salty & tasted like breadcrumbs. Perhaps they were having a difficult day.
