I wish I could say I liked something, but I didn’t. Hostess told us there was a 20 minute wait for a near empty dining room. Restaurant manager intervened as we were about to walk out and offered to seat us. Server came to the table with an extensive list of all the things on the menu they were out of, including more vegetarian options. Asked about the Impossible Burger, he said yes. Then returned and said sorry, it’s frozen together like a log. The things we did order were underwhelming and not impressive at all. Would definitely not go back or recommend to others.

An enjoyable experience. I came in for Burgers and Brews Week to try their Bacon Berriyaki burger. I was on my own and didn’t have too much time so I asked how long it would take. For a medium burger the waitress said about 15 minutes, but they had it ready for me in about 10. The burger was delicious – juicy and flavorful. The waitress was attentive enough to be proactive in bringing me the check as I was finishing up, knowing I had to be somewhere. Service was great, even if it was later in the afternoon and the place wasn’t too busy. The atmosphere was pleasant with some relaxing music playing. Would like to come back some other time.

Came for lunch had the crabcake sandwich and a bowel of the lobster bisque amazing. The bisque was light and airy with a hint of sweetness small bits of basil and generous amounts of the sweet meats it was not heavy like the tradional version I liked it even better as the oppressive heat of summer I tend to avoid heavy soup but this was perfect foil to the heat. The crabcake was all meat with the panko on the outside there was a hint of smokey spice maybe serrano served with thick beefsteak tomato and lettuce bonus homemade pickles sliced thin thouroghly enjoyable for desert I had the carrot cake my favorite so hard to find go interpretations this one took the cake moist and dense while still managing to be light black walnuts finely chopped an a delicate layer cream cheese frosting with a hint of coconut. Super. The atmosphere industrial cafe with a rock and roll heart. Love

So many things to like here. Our servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations.
Appetizers: fried green tomatoes were slightly sweet with the balsamic reductions, but added a great salt with the sourced bacon. Also, the bacon tomato salad is their take on a caprese, but also good.
Entrees: smoked fried hen and cauliflower steak. The hen was such a good idea. It was smoked then fried, fantastic flavor. My friend said the cauliflower was pretty good.
Sides: I got the asparagus and mushroom. Very good and flavorful with its roasting. My friend got the potatoes au gratin and said they were very good.
I’ll add that my Mad hatter drink was perfect. A smoked take on an Ole Fashion. Check the pic for the full effect.

Visited this place with a friend. It used to be called something else but I cannot recall what. That doesn’t matter anyway.
This place is nestled in downtown Duluth. I love this area. It is like a live-work-play complex. There is street parking and lots available nearby. The place is small but spacious if that makes sense. I tried the 1964 Burger. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! They have fries called sidewinder. They are think and shaped kinda like fat corkscrews. The chef sauce is spicy. It is like a mix of mustard and mayo and something else. I hate mayo but loved this. The service was slow but the waitress was very nice. The slowness is the only reason they received a 4 instead of a 5. I will definitely return.

Four Forks has a very good and different menu for both food and drinks! I was very happy with everything that I ordered and I would love to go back again. I do find it to be more of a late lunch or early dinner kind of spot, as it isn’t a romantic kind of place, but the food is just as delicious as a fancy date night kind of restaurant!

Great local resturant. Everything cooked fresh and to order. Upscale but not fancy. Service was attentove but not pushy. We enjoyed our date night here very much!

We had a dinner party of 11. The space was perfect. Our main waitress was not polite, took forever to receive our drinks, had to remind her numerous times for drinks and silverware. One of party guests who arrived an hour after we started eating was told it would take 30 minutes just for an order of salad. I was not impressed with my meal at all. My medium well done steak was more rare, but presentation of the food was nice.

Great spot for a meal in Downtown Duluth. Lunch menu is not huge but every dish (we had 3 at my table) was exquisite and well thought out. The fries are great. The service was impeccable. We were warmly greeted. The ambience is perfect for any type lunch.
Surprisingly the most interesting menu items were the desserts (Big Green Egg grilled sweet corn ice cream; strawberry curry ice cream; bacon chocolate bourbon ice cream and standard items like carrot cake and chocolate mega cake). This place hit the mark and is well run and provides the perfect environment. We will be back!

The food was quite good and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The signature cocktails are interesting, but not as magical is the descriptions would make then appear. We had fairly long wait times for both drinks and food and there weren’t many other customers (we were there early for a Saturday evening, 6pm-ish). Overall we had a pleasant time. I would come back again.
