You will be disappointed, but there aren’t many options. As others have mentioned, a golf cart rental was not available when we arrived. Service was friendly and polite. Food left a lot to be desired. Burger and cheese pizza were rough. I believe this is all pre-made frozen food. It’s not like they are cooking. One other thing worth mentioning is that you would think that a restaurant on the edge of the Bay would use more environmentally friendly packaging. For example, our order contained more than four large styrofoam non-recyclable materials. All the waste on the island gets incinerated. Seems like the owners could care less. Hey just burn that plastic. Atmosphere is deplorable.

We were here on a really hot day back in August. The soft serve ice cream treats were tasty and cooled us down. The ambiance here is cute and the staff was nice, but I could have done without all the Trump/Republican messaging around the business. We get it, the island votes 97% Republican, but guess what? The tourists who keep your business open don’t all vote that way and most of us would rather not see the political leanings of businesses we patronize.

I absolutely cannot rave about this place enough. Whether you’re getting an Italian sub or one of the pineapple ice whips or a watermelon slushy everything is amazing. A very unique place to eat that offers a bigger menu than some restaurants I have been to on the mainland with easier access to products. When visiting Tanji, this is a must visit, and it’s literally 200 feet from all the docking boats.

The employees are extremely accommodating and are willing to go out of their way to make sure your sub or drink or milkshake is the way you want it. I read a few reviews of this place that are below before I came here. To the people that left the extremely low ones because of something not even having to do with food being hung up or used as a decoration, you really need to get your priorities straight. I’m sorry you would rather rob yourself of some amazing food because of some piece of fabric and wood.

Also, you really don’t know your geography too well if you’re offended by such things as political propaganda. Without saying what my political affiliation is, I have never let a candidate. I’ve either agreed with or disagreed with sway me from enjoying a good meal and if you let that happen, then you not only make yourself look bad just stay home and save everybody the trouble of having to read through your trolling replies here.

I highly recommend the meatball sub or the Italian hoagie. I had two of the Italian hoagies on my visit. My suggestion if you’re gonna get the Italian hoagie is double meat, no mayo, mustard, extra pickles, and make sure you get “the hots”. It goes amazing with a watermelon slushy. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and it was probably enough for two meals to be honest. If you ever find yourself, headed to Tanger, make sure you stop here and eat, drink or get dessert. They also have over 65 flavors of ice cream!

Thank you Four Bros for taking care of both me and the hoards of others on this hot, hot mid-July day. In particular Amanda is a hard worker. I think some of these low-raters are saboteurs who dislike all the shop’s Trump memorabilia. I can’t stand him either, but I’m not gonna tank ratings because of it. Many people happily waited to be served and didn’t mind, considering they were by and large windfall from the only open restaurant being crammed full. I had a great customized burger and rootbeer float and tons of kids/families enjoyed the ice cream plus the spacious shade as shelter from the heat. I too wanted a cart for rent, but only delivery ones were left, so the cheaply-priced bike did just fine. All of the staff (cashiers, cook, management) were nothing but friendly (like every single other person on the island was) and accomodating, even checking up on some of the wheelchair patrons. Today was busy, but “strike while the iron’s hot” eh?!!

I went to Four Brothers when there was not a big rush, so I can’t speak to that but my service was relatively quick. I was diappointed in the crab cake sandwich; the bun was low-quality and the cake itself did not live up to expectations. What was very good was the pineapple whip, nd I quite enjoyed the chunks in the refreshing ice cream. My recommendation would be to eat elsewhere and grab ice cream here afterwards. All the political paraphernalia is a bit much, too.

5/5!

This was our second restaurant stop on the island and even though they were busy, we had a good experience here at Four Brothers.

The Food: Our group went with a “Flatbread Crab Melt”, a “Crab Cake Sandwich” and a “Peanut Butter Milkshake”. The Flatbread looked a little small and underwhelming when I opened my container, but I was wrong. When holding the slices up, I saw huge amounts of crab on the pizza and it was thick! Portioned very well and very flavorful. The crab cake however, was the star of the show. The Crab cake was incredibly huge and didn’t have any other filling besides crab! You don’t see that often for a decent price. It was cooked perfectly as well and flavorful. The milkshake was good as well, but it was just like any other. so nothing to write home about.

The Service: Service was good! It can get a little busy, but they do their best to get orders out in a timely manner. You just order, and wait for your name to be called at the front window.

The Atmosphere: With a window ordering process, you have to wait for your food on their front porch or the tables they have on the outdoor part of their patio. Some spots have shade with umbrellas as well, so that’s a plus!

Overall, a 5/5! Good food that’ll leave you happy and full. Definitely recommend.

What a great little eatery. We wanted pineapple ice that we remembered as kids and their pineapple ice didn’t disappoint. Went back for ice cream. It was nice talking to the locals while visiting with family.

I have seen mixed reviews here about Four Brothers, but I need to add our extremely positive review. The ice cream was fabulous and the atmosphere was wonderful! Most importantly, the owners were INCREDIBLY patient and understanding when we had a mishap with one of the golf cars we rented. What could have been an extremely horrible afternoon for everyone ended up being less than a nightmare. We were very grateful to them for this. We recommend that you patronize their business on this idyllic and fascinating island!

Nice little food place with outdoor seating area only. I had a burger with all the works with a side of fries it was great but I wish the burger patty itself had a little bit of heat like it was fresh of the grill. The soft serve is to die for! Make sure you get the waffle cone. Lemonade is sweet and refreshing!
