CASH ONLY!!!
First time stopping in and despite the sign on the door, which we totally didn’t see, we soon found ourselves in a minor panic; they only take cash.
I ordered 2 scoops of Rocky Road which was huge! So much that I needed a cup to put it and my sugar cone in. Very generous portion for $6.50.
When I tried to hand my debit card to them I was informed they only take cash. Thank goodness I had $10 stashed in my car.
Other than the payment inconvenience, the ice cream was very good and again, a generous portion. Nice little homemade ice cream shop.
Fun bonus, the white spoon turns blue when in the cold ice cream.

First things first if you’re hoping to give foster’s a try make you you head to the ATM first because they are a cash only establishment. I tried coming a few weeks ago with Apple Pay in hand and had to try again lol. The shop itself is very quaint. It’s only big enough to fit two customers or families at once. The offer a variety of flavors of ice cream along with slushies, malts and even pies. Their portion size is massive! I got two scoops thinking it would be a typical scoop and it had to be about the size of 3 scoops of each flavor. I couldn’t even finish it lol. I got the banana and salted caramel brownie and my daughter got Irish coffee and chocolate. Two flavors is considered a medium so it was $6.25 each. A little much but now seeing the serving size; I completely understand! There is seating outside the parlor to enjoy your treat. The young lady inside was very kind and helpful in letting me knowing what flavors to try. I’d definitely visit again!

Had to come here to say how much I love this charming little ice cream place! We have been coming here for years and was pleasantly surprised that it has s been lovingly restored and still has that cozy nostalgic feeling! It is one of the only places I can get my soft serveive cream, and my daughter can get her scoop of colorful hard ice cream, and my hubby likes the homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches! This place has been part of our summers for decades and I am happy to see it not only survived covid shut downs but seems it is now thriving!! We need to support these hidden gems!! Thank you Fosters for being part of our summer memories!

First time here!! We just saw a beautiful sunset and wanted to get top it off with a little ice cream. We were headed to a place near our home but didn’t think we would make it by 10pm. I googled ice cream and Fosters homemade ice cream popped up. What do you know? They’re opened until 11pm – Yea for us!! The staff was friendly and patient – it was tough making our selections! Everything tasted great and I’m sure we will stop in again

I only lived in Ohio for a year but this spot was one of our signature spots to go to EVERY weekend. It’s been 5 years since the last time I went here, but no other ice cream parlor can ever beat this one, trust me. Also you HAVE TO try their mint chocolate chip ice cream and their shakes are outta this worlldddddd!!!!! Love ya Fosters!

Just visited yesterday for the first time based on the recommendation of a friend. I never would have known that the shop was there, I don’t usually drive down the road they are on. So glad we went. The ice cream was good and it was a good portion size too. I like that it’s not a corporate place and has a homey feel. I also was glad to see the rules in place for our current pandemic.

Great ice-cream! Amazing customer service! What really surprised me was that they have the best sugar free ice-cream flavor! Employees are always helpful with flavor selection and always happy to provide with a sample taste. Unfortunately the store does not have indoor seating but they provide benches outside.
