Peadiddly Hopscotch lives pretty much right across the street from Fosters Freeze, and I thought to myself..That’d be awesome to be able to walk across the street and snag some Fosters Freeze whenever you wanted….if you were a teenager that is. So, after I gave Peadiddly a ride home I asked him how many times a week does he go to the Freeze, and he said he’s never been…So I slugged him in the shoulder, not hard but hard enough! Well, we went over there and I introduced Peadiddly to Fosters Freeze, and more importantly the Fish Filet Sando! It’s a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ experience every time!

It was a really good cheeseburger with everything you could ask for. Waffle fries were delectable, with perfect heat and salting. Oreo Worms and dirt combo twister was amazing! A must try for all who are in the area.

I love my experience here. As Someone who goes mute at unexpected times (It’s REALLY annoying for me), they make the ordering process easy! And I don’t feel ashamed when I ask them for help when they forget something on my order. 5/5 would eat here again when I’m to tired to cook and I want amazing customer service

Delicious. Small place. Great menu of hot dogs and other items and really good soft serve ice cream.

Way to expensive for the kind of and quality of food they serve condiments they pretty much charge u enough to pay for a bottle of the same low quality sauce , I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you have money to waste

Fries treated like old grease, and also like something sweet like a waffle cone had been fried in it. (I have no idea if fried waffle cones are even a thing, just how I’d describe one of the unexpected fried grease flavors. That and old.)

“Mini” (kids) burger is placed in a full size bun. Odd, but OK, doesn’t hurt kids to have extra bread, & probably cost effective to stock only 1 size .

I’m glad the institution is still there I suppose? Or the neighborhood is?

I didn’t find it tastey, or a good deal. I threw out half or so of the food out. I don’t usually waste food, especially when it was $$ spent.

Maybe the ice cream is good, or maybe menu items I didn’t try are better? Don’t think I’ll return to try again though.
Probably great for neighborhood kids, & teens. Not far from the beach.

Disappointed. Very.
We were out there on Sunday, after hotel checkout on our way to the Wharf to do one last bout of fishing…
This was on the way, and in the past, I have enjoyed Foster’s Freeze and its food.
My wife got the corn dog meal and I ordered the regular burger and an order of overpriced mozzarella sticks.
When I grab my order, I ask for extra marinara, noting there was NO marinara on the tray…
That’s when I find out they don’t have any marinara (Had they mentioned that at the beginning, I would have never ordered them, but… fine, whatever).
Also, they don’t allow for refills even dining in.
Just FYI.
No wonder it was empty at 12 noon on a Sunday… I’ve experienced better service at a 7/11.

Friendliest young man at the counter served me up the biggest yummiest burgers since Clown Alley closed its doors in the 70’s in downtown Kearney near Broadway.
I brought them back from Santa Cruz and what a delight.
Nothing is better than a good burger especially when it’s served with a smile and at that Foster Freeze the young man working the order was great.
That is what makes a burger great.

Food was luke warm…. wife’s bottom bun was cold. Employees were nice…super expensive…40 bucks for 2 people (1 combo burger meal with small shake and 1 burger, no drink), we shared fries….fries were really good! Wife brought her own bottle of water.
