My husband and I are Italian sub junkies and we LOVED this place. Subs were fresh, super flavorful, and made to order. My daughter has the kid’s ham sandwich and loved it. Mozzarella sticks and cannoli were also delish. We liked our lunch so much we went to their main location (Forza Meats) to grab some lunch meat and other goodies. We will be back to try more subs!

I ordered the Deli Special – sopraseta, mortadella, arugula, roasted red pepper, and burrata on focaccia (per my request). One of the best, freshest sandwiches I’ve had! Definitely will be back!

Paisan is a great sandwich. Great bread, great ingredients. Happy to have them in the neighborhood – it’s my go to spot for lunch. Owner is very thoughtful and gives terrific customer service.

Ordered the meatball sub. It was well made, but I felt it lacked flavor overall. It didn’t taste bad, but just bland. I felt the meatballs were probably over worked and kind of tight.

My girlfriend ordered an Italian beef and they just served dry Italian beef on bread that had no au jus on the bread, not a drop. When we ordered we were not asked Dipped? Wet? Dry? Etc we were able to get a side and fix the sandwich but this seems like a training opportunity.

I ordered a side of tater tots and they were amazing. Fresh oil, salted perfect.

The seating arrangement is very tight. They should consider going back to booths against the wall like Mario’s had it years ago.

Counter and window spot, not a market cafe like the other Forza in glenview but the same great food.

Good menu of Italian sandwiches. Solid sandwiches, but could be so much better with better ingredients, particularly the bread. I never understand why a place with a limited, specialized menu like this would not try to kill it with its key ingredients. They could charge way more and have lines out the door if they’d invest in top notch bread, meats, and cheeses. Probably just great bread could do the trick. They’d have higher margins and higher volume. Also they need to have roasted red peppers in lieu of tomatoes on more of their sandwiches if they’re going for authentic Italian. Lots of untapped potential here. Service was very friendly.

Here’s what you need to know: sandwich was delicious. Service was very friendly but it takes a while to get your sandwich, even when it was between lunch and dinner so no other diners waiting. Not much of an ambiance since it’s a take out window for the most part and a food retail shop. Makes sense since it’s the prepared food extension of a butcher shop across town. Overall, I would recommend the sandwiches and would go back when in the neighborhood.

You can’t have a good sandwich with bad bread!!
I went to this restaurant solely because of its affiliation with Forza meats in Glenview that we frequent to buy high-quality meat. Me and my wife ordered two sandwiches to go to bring to the park to eat shortly after we both ordered the chicken sandwich “Josephine”
We each ordered different bread, me the French and my wife, the Ciabatta.

We opened up the sandwiches to find the bread and I mean both sandwich breads, soggy, and looked mostly like store-bought cheap bread, not flavorful not fresh. Certainly not French bread that I’m used to and not the Ciabatta that my wife is used to.
Anyway, that being said, we tasted the sandwiches and the chicken on mine was rubbery with no flavor, and on my wife’s was in some areas not cooked all the way through
The rest of the ingredients in the sandwich were completely tasteless. I finished my sandwich but my wife did not.

So really what we have here is another fast food restaurant right store to another fast food restaurant that my stomach will regret for the rest of the day. Forza should be ashamed for serving such terrible food advertised as freshly cooked on site.

Was excited to visit a local sandwich shop as I just love a good sandwich and seek them out while visiting other towns, neighborhoods.
Well to my chagrin I was very disappointed with this place.
The service was great, the food was mediocre.
Don’t go there just because it has the name Forza!
I wont be going back!

I ordered a salad and ate on premise. There are a few tables but judging from the flow of customer traffic, it’s mostly takeout. My salad,
a BYO, had several ingredients I didn’t ask for and 1 was missing. When I pointed this out, the employee was very apologetic, and in spite of the fact it was the height of the lunchtime rush, produced the correct salad in a few minutes. The ingredients in my salad were fresh and I would order it again (although I wish it was a bit larger for the price). In too many places when you point out an error, the employees simply roll their eyes and sigh as a response, as if you’re bothering them. Because of their response here to my order error, I raised my rating from 4 to 5 stars.
