Perfect cup of coffee every time! I’ve always appreciated grabbing a cup at the farmers market and really glad to see two locations in town ! I pick a cup up as I shop at greenstar and bring the beans home for the family especially during the holidaze ! This perfectly roasted coffee for me.

Best coffee shop in Ithaca, not even close. They served up an 8.2 cortado that blew all of the shops (like Gimme! or Press) out of the water. The milk work is what made it an 8.2 as the beans were on the 7.8 side. Overall, really good and holds up with some of the best I’ve had in New York.

THE BEST COFFEE IN THE AREA.
Forty Weight is the only cafe I’ve seen that pulls shots to the exact gram – with the freshest beans. Their baristas are well experienced in flavor, pouring and quality service. I remember the first time I had their coffee in November which was the best cappuccino I’ve ever had (this is after living in Italy), and to this day I have not been disappointed. Not forgetting to mention Gola Osteria and State Bakery, the blueberry scones are SOOOOO good, not too sweet, and baked fresh daily!
The Baristas here have been friendly and informative on tasting notes as well as the growing and roasting processes of the beans, when I need more help choosing a bag. There is nothing bad I can say about this business.

I would venture to say this is the best coffee in Ithaca! I had a decaf cortado, and it was executed perfectly. Not only is the staff friendly and knowledgeable, but they also know how to pull their shots and steam milk just right. If you’re used to third wave coffee, this is the place for you!

Their PYT espresso beans are roasted to exquisite perfection! I order them regularly and have them shipped to my home. Also a 5 star experience based on the freshness of the roast — order on Sunday, roasted on Monday, I almost always receive via FedEx by Thursday (in PA). Their customer service is also excellent. I am a loyal customer and recommend to everyone!
