Great place to enjoy brunch. I enjoyed my meal but wish they had options for protein for the salads but my mom gave me some of her chicken from her chicken and waffles dish so that made it a little better. I did have a taste of the waffle as well and it was decent. My favorite part was the Olive Oil pound cake on the bakery side which was absolutely delicious. I’d like to come back and try their lunch during the week and dinner menu but over all I had a good experience. I loved the remodel and details they put into the restaurant as I remembered how it used to look when C 3s was there so kudos to the design and architect team. The friendliness and overall service was great and the owner Erin and her family are very sweet and welcoming.

Everything about 4940 is extremely well thought out and executed. The market before the restaurant has unique and specialty ingredients and cookware. The ambiance of the dining area itself is classy and intimate without feeling pretentious. The plating of each dish is elegant. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food itself was really something special. We saw the chef checking every plate before it was sent out to be served and the attention to detail was evident! Every dish we tried was delicious and we are excited to come back to try new ones. After our meal, we had the pleasure of speaking with the owners who informed us of their Sunday brunch and fresh pastries. It was overall a really great dining experience and we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed great service and food. The menu is limited for brunch but the wonderful combination of flavors is outstanding.

Alert Alert: Six-star restaurant in Corrales – seriously, we have been waiting so long for a restaurant this great. This is our second time and it’s fantastic. Nothing like it in Corrales and honestly nothing like it in Albuquerque. The food is amazing but of course it is because they have Javier as their chef. And Jason is the bar chef and has some fantastic wine selections by the glass. You all know I take these reviews very seriously and you will not go wrong here – go for it and let me know.

My husband and I have had many friends recommend this new restaurant (and the aged rib-eye in particular). We ate there last night and had a phenomenal experience. The staff was all very dedicated to making it a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The mixed drinks were delicious. The appetizers amazing (highly recommend the Burrata), and the entrees were heavenly. We had the Tri-tip and rib-eye and were so happy. We ended with the Basque cheesecake and left very full, and very happy. Our waiter Kyle was fab, and the chef Javier was very approachable and friendly (and talented of course!) Thanks for a memorable evening Forty Nine Forty!

Expectations were high. Restaurants in the area are amazing, and I was looking forward to an epic night of dining with my family. We sat on the patio for a sunset dinner. The whole experience was sub par and everything from the lackluster cocktails, over priced food, and mediocre tasting food and proportions were just some of the reasons for a 2 star review. Even our server was just not in a good mood.

I would give this place a 5 stars based on taste and quality of food, but the wait time for the food was just too long for our liking. It was about 2 hours and 15 minutes from the time we were seated until we finished. 1 hour and 15 minutes is our preference, give or take a few minutes. My opinion is that they need to increase the size of the kitchen staff or decrease availability. The food was perfect, just too long for it to come out. I would like to add that the staff was very pleasant.

This restaurant was fabulous. The Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and my husband savored the Ribeye. This chef makes the best in the city (campo) look like amateur hour. It is the finest food in there metro area. Also, ask to sneak into the market.

Had a great experience! My wife and I shared the char crudo, wedge salad, tri-tip and side of green chili grits, perhaps the star dish. The quality of ingredients was noticeably good. Cocktails were tasty and there’s a solid wine list with a nice price range of well-selected offerings.
