Absolutely amazing food. We tried calamari, fish and chips, tuna and octopus. Everything was spot on. Portions were big and prices surprisingly good. Shout out to Jose, best waiter on Malta. He had very good beer and food recommendations. Other members of the crew were also super helpful and friendly. Definitely one of the spots that made our trip to Malta so good. Looking forward for coming back.

We came on our first night after reading the good reviews. It was only 2 mins walk from our hotel. We’re not disappointed, good seafood and good portion size and home-made cherry wine was lovely!

The seafood we ordered was excellent – fresh, well-prepared, and very tasty. The fries and dressing were also very good and went nicely with the meal.
We also tried the homemade cherry wine, which was a pleasant surprise and tasted great.
The service was friendly and welcoming. The staff was polite, smiling, and happy to help us with recommendations.
The atmosphere was enjoyable, with nice music and a comfortable setting.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place.✨❤️

Unassuming but outstanding little restaurant just off the busy main road.
The fish, whole sea bream, salmon teriyaki and sea bass steak in a pistachio crust, was perfectly cooked, delicious and piping hot.
Although the menu doesn’t make it clear, the mains are served with either fries or salad. I asked for chilli fries and again, these were fantastic.
Added bonus for me, a nice selection of good beers. Oh and the prices are excellent VFM.
We had first class service from Josue. And for the first time ever in Malta, we were offered a limoncello on paying.
We will return, if not this time, we leave tomorrow, next year.

Our only regret was that we find this seafood gem only two days before our departure flight! That didn’t prevented us to visit second time, just before our flight home, for another delicious lunch!
We just bumped in one day after a stroll in St. Paul bay and what a find?!
Everything was just perfect, food, atmosphere, service and above all, Ozzy, the perfect host!

Great place for a hearty seafood grill. I thoroughly enjoyed it and travelled from Mellieha to try it, it was well worth the travel. Service with a smile from Lorenzo topped the experience. Compliments to the chef on their roast potatoes recipe!

One of the few places where the food AND service was SOOOO GOOOOD!! I loved the food and the people serving them. The Aljotta and sea bass grill was delicious. The best part was our waiter Lorenzo, who was so helpful and friendly. He created an atmosphere that made us enjoy the dining experience. Hearty meals and people!!

I had a great experience at Forty Fishes in Malta. The food quality really stands out. Every dish I tried was fresh and well-prepared, with the seafood tasting vibrant and full of flavor. I ordered the octopus and it was absolutely delicious. I’ve tried octopus many times before, but this was one of the best. It was my first visit, and I definitely recommend this place.
