I love coming here, they have a great lunch deal for so much food! I eat here once or twice every week or two, the young woman at the counter is always nice and gets me in and out, which is great because i have a short break LOL. Their orange chicken is amazing, it’s the only place i’ll order it, i recommend Fortune Garden to anyone who asks about good Chinese food in middletown!

Loved it when it was a buffet years ago. Current owners aren’t to friendly. I’ve shied away. Great wall on south main street would be the best spot for chinese food if i had any recommendations worth the drive.

I got the chicken with mixed vegetables, which is a simple enough dish. While the portion was decent, there was no broccoli. Not one piece. It was just chinese cabbage with a few pieces of carrot and a few snow peas thrown in. I have never in my life had a mixed vegetable dish from a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t come with broccoli. Very bizarre.

Did not get what I ordered. Ate the rice out of what they gave me. Three slimy slices of chicken were in the chicken chow mein that they sent mostly old onions, tons of carrots and cabbage. The fried noodles that they sent to go with it were so greasy and old they were also inedible.

I have only had take out, but ordering on line is super easy. This Chinese food restaurant allows you to select whatever type of fried rice or lo Mein you want in a combination dinner. That is an awesome option. You can also add egg. (For a slight up-charge) to your rice which is a delicious option too.The crab Rangoons are delicious and you get way more in an order than other Chinese restaurants in town.

This is our go to chinese take out restaurant. Although there are so many chinese restaurants in middletown, they will never come close to fortune garden. We have become regulars, the staff knows our order right when we come in so friendly as well. The food tastes great we always order a pork fried rice. I have been switching it up, and all the other food is delicious!!! So underrated they deserve lots of love

Food ready fast! Four combination meals less than $40 with tax (around $37 I think)…. each combo of egg roll (yummy!), meat, and fried rice was about $8 each.
Plenty of food. Each serving filled a Styrofoam container (5x8x4… Maybe?) Half with fried rice, half with the meat dish, with the egg roll in a waxed bag. Fortune cookies, sauces, and plasticware in the bag at time of pickup.
Fresh, hot, and tasty!!!! We take out. We order through grub hub; never an issue. Open later than others in area.
Nice staff 😉 OVERALL IS EXCELLENT!!!!
