To start with, this place HAS NO RESTROOMS. I wanted to wash my hands and asked the elderly lady behind the counter, her response was only a dry: No restroom! USUALLY I DO NOT EAT IN RESTAURANTS THAT DO NOT HAVE RESTROOMS. I ordered Chow mein (don’t like Half and Half), Chicken with green beans and Chicken with mushrooms. To those of you who gave this place 4 and 5 stars: either your taste buds are awful or you have never tried other Chinese food restaurants. This was one of the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten. The noodles were undercooked, the chicken and green beans was very salty and green beans were mushy. The chicken with mushrooms were OK. They were saved by the zucchini pieces. I will never recomend this place to WORST enemy. Only after I eat, I realized that down from this place was was nice Taco Bell with very clean restrooms. If you’re going to spend $10.00 on a fast chinese food, you’d be better off going to Panda or Pick up Stix

I am vegan and I’m very pleased fortune express has vegan options in a city with very few. This was the BEST fried tofu I have ever had! I got it with chow mein and the helpings are SUPER generous, it lasted me a couple days. Seriously a new favorite for me I will be getting this again and again! I go here often and the couple behind the counter are always so friendly they give me free cookies and sauce. The place feels comfy and homey, they deserve more customers!

My husband and I intended to explore some Chinese restaurants in the Santa Clarita Valley. We saw this location while traveling along The Old Road and decided to stop. We were disappointed that they had no bathrooms. I was offended to discover that they had old food under heat lamps. When she saw my disappointment with the food, she offered us a custom order. My spouse, however, believed that a customized order would be prudent. He requests additional shrimp with his fried rice. I choose the noodles topped with shrimp. I believed I had been overcharged at the time of payment because the math did not make sense to me. It was assumed, however, that the extra shrimp in the rice was to blame. We were not given a breakdown of the cost of each item, on the receipt, another disappointment for me.

Additionally, we added a Snapple to our order. The final total amounted to $37.76 it felt like a lot, in my opinion for two customized large items and a beverage. I ordered boba after making payment. A medium was advertised for $2.80 after taxes, I would be charged 4.89 cents, which seemed absurd. She explained that the high tax on a medium drink was for extra boba, which I did not request. I found it odd that she would add it to my order without my permission. After I confronted her with the tax I was being charged, she offered to give me a large for an extra dollar. I politely declined the offer of a large drink. It made me feel negatively towards this location.

In addition, the custom lunch was superior to the food served under the heat lamps, despite the fact that we did not finish it due to my dissatisfaction. I wish I had read the reviews prior to my visit. The restaurant’s lack of customers should have also served as a warning sign. We will likely never return.

Super delicious. I special request double shrimp fried rice with no peas or carrots and the owner and cook make it fresh and delicious. The veggies there are always fresh. The owner shops every morning for the freshest veggies. I highly recommended you special order your meals. You will pay extra but it is worth it !

This Mom and Pop restaurant has been here for as long as I’ve lived in Stevenson Ranch, over 20 years. They know my whole family, they recognize my kids as they have grown from 5 to 26 year old men! They know their orders. They know their drinks. They know what I like. They welcome everyone with first names and smiles. We love their rice, orange chicken, chicken sticks and their veggie egg rolls! Go in. Help our local business survive and be successful! Who needs another chain when we have these hidden gems!

This is a Mom and Pop place. They make great dishes! I especially love their wonton soup!! This is NOT Panda or Pei Wei. It’s SOOOO much better! Prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh not frozen, or mass produced. You will not be disappointed, unless you like the junk food of Panda or other “Chinese Fast Food”.

Very good authentic Chinese food but sadly not a lot of customers. I tried the shrimp chop suey and thought it was very tasty. Try this place instead of Panda Express for an authentic Chinese dinner.
