My partner and I just ate here. She had the duck on rice and I had the bbq pork noodles.

Pros:
The noodles themselves were mostly warm.
The waitress was understanding and service was good.

Cons:
Everything else was at best room-temperature.
The soup “tasted like how manure smelt”

I’m sure that if it were served freshly cooked, or at least reheated, it would be good. But it wasn’t take-out, we ordered in-resturant.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times before, but this experience was truly disappointing. The ribs were huge; I suggested they cut them into smaller pieces, and the waiter responsible for cutting the meat had a terrible attitude.

Food was delicious! The roasted duck was perfect, super crispy on the outside and the meat itself melts like butter in your mouth. Service was super quick, too. Will definitely return whenever I’m craving duck over rice.

Ordered the wonton noodle with pork trotter. Had the BBQ pork and roast pork belly to go.

Hits the spot, all of them. Pork trotter was stewed to perfection, soft but not too soft and well seasoned. The skin on the roast pork is amazingly crispy. It’s crunchy, not hard or over roasted. So glad this is close to home.

I ate here two days in a row because it was really delicious! I have been craving for dry noodles recently and this place hit the spot. I ordered roast duck dry noodles for takeout one day, and the following day I dined in and got their crispy pork dry noodles! Not pictured but my family also tried their roast duck rice plate and ginger chicken. They said both were delicious! Service was quick and great. Downside is the small parking area but overall a fantastic restaurant and will return to try other dishes!

This is a new restaurant recently opened in the Portland area. It is great to see more authentic Chinese restaurants serving the Asian population who crave for traditional Chinese congees and noodle bowls. The workers speak Cantonese so it was a good sign.

I was kind of satisfied with the noodle overall. I would give them a 3.5 stars for the noodle bowls and an extra 0.5 star for their good service. When BBQ is part of their restaurant name, I had high hope on their quality of the BBQ meats. I also noticed that they have recently increased their pricing too when compared to the old photos of the menus posted by our wonderful Yelp community members. There is now only one pricing for one size of the noodle bowls. I don’t know if it was a good idea. I did notice that the pricing is now $2 more for any 2 choices of meat option.

Overall I think their noodle bowls are a half star better than competitor Kenney’s Noodle House. It is always disappointing to have NO vegetables in the bowl. Is it becoming a trend to not offering vegetables? I saw that Fortune BBQ is charging extra $2 for vegetables, very disappointing.

My husband ordered wonton and BBQ duck noodle soup $16 and I had dumpling noodle soup $13. I was very happy with their large dumplings with at least 2 medium shrimps in each dumpling. Other ingredients were crunchy with chinese mushrooms, very good. The flavors were on point. My husband got three wontons and 5 pieces of duck. Their display case showed beautifully cooked ducks that were meaty. Their BBQ pork also looked very nice and juicy. However, I was disappointed that the duck pieces tasted a bit metallic. I can’t complain how meaty the duck pieces were. I won’t recommend BBQ duck at this restaurant. If we go back to this restaurant again, we will try their BBQ pork instead. The wontons were fine but smaller than the dumplings which was expected. I prefer their dumplings over the wontons.

The broth was okayed but lack the depth. It seems that my dumpling broth may have augmented with seasonings. The noodle was pretty good and was not overcooked. I would have given their noodle soup higher rating if it weren’t for the lack of vegetable and high pricing.

The roast duck is amazing, worth the trip

The roast pork is also delicious

The only gripe i may have is the seasoning/flavor is inconsistent sometimes, some being packed or over powering and others are virtually nothing but pure meat. but honestly i can overlook that, I would devour that whole display case if given the chance

The noodle soup doesn’t come with wonton, so it costs extra to add it. The bowl of noodles itself was a small serving for the cost, and the amount of roasted pork we got in it was also minimal. The broth was seafood-y, I didn’t care for it. They provide soy sauce, vinegar, white pepper, and chili oil. We also ordered beef brisket and roast duck with rice, and I also don’t think it’s worth $17. The duck had decent flavor, but the brisket wasn’t flavorful. I don’t think we’ll actually come back.

The food was fantastic!! And the service was great. I love that they give you hot tea first thing if you’re dining in lol. If I’m ever back in Portland, I definitely plan on making it back here!

Delicious new place for Hong Kong-style BBQ. The soup base for their wonton noodle soup is SO good, and their BBQ literally glistens. Will definitely be back.

Update 11/24: still really good! They also have the sweetest, nicest folks working there. I try to stop by whenever I’m in town!
