Who doesn’t love a good wood fired pizza? FORNO has some pretty epic pies! The crust is thin and perfectly charred crispy on the ends. Toppings are outstanding. The truffle pizza is transcendent! We added prosciutto and arugula to the truffle pizza and it was killer!!! Cute little place, perfect for date night or going out with a small intimate group of friends. In the warmer months the garage doors open inviting the outside inside. Check it out, it’s worth it!

Had to meet up with someone in this town and found this place on Yelp with averagely good reviews so I decided to go there.
The place is not that big, has approximately 6 tables and seats at the counter bar. We arrived at about 8PM knowing that the place closes at 9PM but we were hoping they would give us some time to eat past 9PM like 10-15 minutes. Once we sat down we were told that last order is at 8:15PM. So we placed orders quickly and the food didn’t take too long. Around 10 minutes before 9PM, they came by and asked if I wanted a box to go. That made me feel like they wanted us out right on the dot which is a bit disappointing. Another disappointing thing is that they overcharged the taxes and also charged the tip on the taxes which I found out about that after we’ve left the place.
Food wise, the taste was not bad but nothing was special. Our waiter was pretty attentive, he came by to check on us multiple times. Maybe he was trying to get us out lol idk ‍♀️.

Love their food here! It’s one of my favorite spots to go when I’m in town. They did just change their menu recently and I will say their old gnocchi was better in my opinion but if you like less cheese and more of a savory taste you would like their new one! Although, I do hope the old gnocchi does return eventually I was able to find something new I love on their menu! I highly recommend their rigatoni pasta and margarita pizza!

Ordered lunch, kid’s spaghetti, to-go. Waiter was nice and food ready on time. Spaghetti was watery but the flavor was fine. Meatball was good until…..I found myself chewing on a long metal strand. Yuck.

So glad I finally got to try this gem! We really enjoyed our food! I think two people could have shared a pizza, if they aren’t big eaters, but we each got our own. The pizzas cooked fast too! They were really yummy! I had a white pizza and my sis and mother unit each had a red one with sausage. We were all very satisfied. Excellent service as well, he answered the plethora of questions we had!

Second time dining here. Atmosphere is cool and cozy. The servers were both kind and helpful. The food is fantastic! We had two different types of pizza both times, one “red” and the other “white”. However, the entire menu looks amazing and they have really good deals for each day of the week. So thankful to have a Neapolitan style pizza restaurant in the greater Joliet area.

First time trying Forno and we were pleasantly surprised. The minute we walked in we were impressed with the look and feel of the restaurant. The warmth and beauty in all of the details was amazing. It definitely didn’t feel like we were dining on Jefferson st. Service was five stars. Drinks were delicious. Food was great. Definitely 5 stars. Thanks for bringing some class to this area!

Food and service were great. The menu offers a wide selection, you may have a hard time picking. The specials all sounded great, we ended up with the pizza special. Drink menu is very innovative and enjoyed everything we tried. Can’t wait to go back. Did I mention they take reservation?!

Before I begin the service was bomb. We waitress Sarah took her time and explained everything to us. The rating is mostly because of our service was excellent.
Our food was ok. We go to a lot of Italian restaurants and we eat fried calamari like it’s going out of style. This calamari we did not like. It was chewing, fishy aftertaste and although it looked very nice did not taste as good as it looked.
The Capricciosa pizza was prepared and cooked awesomely. The wood fire crust is amazing. The flavors of the ingredients were fresh and good tasting. The service and pizza made the four stars. The appetizer made me take a star down.
Overall it’s a good place and I’m glad me and my wife had a chance to experience a place like this.

I usually wait till my 3rd visit before writing a review, not this time. First and most important is the staff. They are a wonderful group of people. So friendly and helpful. The pizza was really good. Cooked to perfection. We also tried the churros for dessert. They are good and you could easily order them with a beer and call it a meal. The wine selection is good but the beer wasn’t available yet so I will need to return for that review. The atmosphere is modern and inviting. It’s going to make a great local hangout. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Will update my review when they are fully opened.
