Knoxville is really sleeping on Forno Grill. This is a hidden gem with a friendly staff and great food. Haven’t had a bad meal and always find myself craving their pizza. While I will never state that anywhere has the best of anything bc there are different styles for different folks, I will say this is a more frequented spot. We know will get quality food each time we order. Thanks Forno.

Not impressed at all. You order at a counter like a fast food restaurant. Get your own drinks/refills.
Other than bringing the pizza out they don’t do much. The pizza looked good but was mediocre at best. The crust was the only thing that was really good. The sauce and meats had no flavor. 1 medium supreme pizza and 2 drinks was $25. We won’t be back.

Great spot in Farragut, mostly takeout it seems, we were about the only ones choosing to dine-in.

Pizza – 8.5/10 – I’ve had better but definitely had worse. Quality of toppings was mid.
Garlic Knots – 9/10 – great flavor and cheese inside, not a ton of butter or garlic.
Pasta – 8/10 – feels like they stay much busier with pizza than pasta.

Care. There is not one person who works there that doesn’t want to do whatever they can to make the experience the very best. The staff scan the tables anytime they walk by, make eye contact, ask if they can do anything, rare in today’s restaurant workers.
Barely ever a wait for food or drink, all 5’s in our book!!
Food is tops, best authentic Mexican food in town. This location is our weekly agenda!

The food here was great. My kid wanted spaghetti and he got what he wanted. I had the cheese ravioli and it was delicious. My wife got the baked tortellini which was better than my dish. The food is expensive and the atmosphere seems like a slow fast food which is why service got a 4 star. The tvs played some weird content. We were there on a Saturday during football so not seeing football games was a negative. It was also dark in the restaurant so 3 stars on the atmosphere.

Really tasty and fast service. Great portions if you like left overs. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and I really like it but got full to fast, no matter that was lunch the next day. Daughter got the chicken parm and we shared, and my wife got some tortellini and it was very rich and tasty. Highly recommended little gem in Farragut.

Everyone is so helpful, attentive and genuinely nice! It’s not the best Italian lasagna or certainly not a great Italian restaurant atmosphere but the folks who work there more than make up for it. Quick service a yummy salad and very large serving of lasagna steamy hot and cheesy! AND… we asked to share the large salad and the lasagna. They brought the salad on 2 plates really generous servings and a huge piece of lasagna. Altogether a great meal.

My first time here and I was pretty happy with my experience. I came in a little after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The place was deserted, besides one other couple sitting at a table. My kind of place. LOL They have a pretty big selection of Italian favorites, and I read that the lasagna was really good, so that’s what I ordered. I’m partial to my mom’s lasagna, but theirs was pretty good too. It was lacking ricotta cheese, but otherwise it was quite delicious. It comes with two pieces of garlic bread, that tasted a little off to me, but still weren’t bad. They are a little on the pricier side, but then all the restaurants are raising their prices now. The portion size was really large, and I will have another meal out of this. The music was a little on the loud side for me, but I enjoyed the songs I recognized. Once you order your food and pay the tip ahead of time, you pick a table and they will bring it out to you. You pretty much wait on yourself as far as drinks, but that didn’t bother me. The restaurant looked clean, and I’m sure I’ll be back to try the chicken fettuccine next time.
12/12/22: I tried the chicken fettuccine today. It was a pretty big portion, but a little bland. I got a Coke from the fountain machine, but it tasted watery. One of the employees offered to get me a bottled Coke, but then it got busy and I think he forgot about me. I finally got up, went and got another cup, and tried the lemonade instead. It was ok. Before I left, the employee brought me a to-go container, and insisted I take a bottled coke, since he forgot about me earlier, so I decided not to change my rating. I’m sure I’ll stop in again and try something different.
10/14/23 – I had the cheese tortellini in meat sauce today. Very good. Probably my favorite dish here, so far.

The three of us ordered 4 items total: the garlic knots appetizer, baked cheese tortellini, chicken parmesan, and chicken fettuccine alfredo.
The garlic knots were crazy good! There was cheese rolled up within the layers of bread, and came with warm marinara sauce. Those were so good, I could’ve been done at that point! My baked cheese tortellini was REALLY good, however! The sauce had a little bit of meat in it, so if you’re vegetarian, ask for a straight-up alfredo sauce, but this was delish. I would definitely get this again. Someone else in our party got the chicken parm, and it was also excellent. The only less-than-impressive dish was the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and it just needed more seasoning. After additional salting and parmesan, it was much better. The basket of toasted garlic bread was a pleasant surprise, but we were so full, we brought it home along with more than half of our servings – they’re huge!!
A nearby table got a pizza, and someone else got a (huge) lasagna – both of those looked delish, too! The men behind the counter were super friendly and accommodating, and the vibe was very casual.
Overall, we loved Forno and will definitely go back!

This was such a great place. Celebrated a friends birthday. Food was great. Big portions. The food alone is worth a 5 star rating but that wasn’t even the best part. Owner was so attentive and friendly. Even came back to our table to ask if we wanted to hold off on the onions on a pizza ordered because someone had asked for no onions on their salad. Seems like a small detail but it’s rare to find that kind of attention and customer service. Highly recommend.
