y’all. chef erwina absolutely outdid herself catering my birthday gathering
the spread was unreal:
pancit that disappeared immediately,
afritada rich and comforting in that “someone loves you” way,
pinakbet perfectly balanced (even the skeptics were converted),
fluffy rice doing its essential, noble work,
and lumpia that should honestly come with a warning because they were gone in minutes.
every dish felt intentional, generous, and full of heart. this was not just catering, this was care, culture, and flavor showing up loud. still thinking about it. still dreaming about it.

The food and service was wonderful! We got the Adobo/Bihon/Jumping combo plate and the Sinigang with pork plate, yum yum in the tum tum. We topped off the meal and shared a Halo Halo to cap off a nice meal after a long day of traveling. Perfect spot near the airport to get some good Filipino food. The restaurant was clean and the service was nice and friendly and the prices were great, must stop in when you’re in PDX. =)

Food: The quality has declined since our last visit. Portions were noticeably smaller and flavors were off. We ordered sisig (dry and not the authentic style) and the adobo combo (chicken was dry/chewy and the noodles had a slimy texture). Even our kids refused to eat and spit the food out.
Portion Size: When I questioned the unusually small portion, we were told it was “normal.” After checking reviews, it looks like what we were served was about half of what others normally get — roughly 1/2 cup of sisig for $16.
Pricing/Fees: There was also a mandatory 20% gratuity that wasn’t listed or mentioned anywhere. We only discovered it when the bill came.
Overall: We left disappointed and unsatisfied.

A pleasant little cafe on Sandy Blvd. Food is flavorful & fresh. We had the Pork Lumpia, Chicken Pancit (Bihon) & Pork Adobo. The server was very attentive. I grew up eating Filipino food from my grandfather on my dad’s side. It was a nice walk down memory lane. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

Landed at PDX and we were craving Filipino food and found this place. When we arrived it was empty but the wooden forks and spoons and decorations gave true Filipino vibes. Our host/server was super friendly and said it was his aunt’s place.
The food was delicious but surprisingly was set up as individual entrees with rice rather than family style. Our server happily brought us plates and serving spoons when we said we were planning to share. Everything was flavorful and came out hot and fresh.

Came in on a Saturday late afternoon and ordered a combo plate, empanada, skewers, and a coke. Never got the coke and kitchen said they were out of the empanadas and skewers. Food tasted ok, menu was very limited but I love that they had a combo plate.
Teenage server was super awkward in general which is totally fine, but I brought up a bag of mini pan de sal to add to our total. I clarified I wanted to add it (because she didn’t react the first time) and she just said “I’ll ask” and held the card reader out for us to pay for our food. No explanation who she had to ask or why she couldn’t run them together. I said “ok..?” and put it back on the display, and she didn’t actually ask anyone, or offer to ring it up- just wished us a good day.
Kind of bizarre experience overall.

A hole in the wall Filipino restaurant off Sandy Blvd and 107th Ave. I had the Sisig Canton over noodles with a fried egg on top. My wife had the chicken empanadas. We’ve not eaten Filipino before but we really liked it. My wife loved hers saying the crust was nice and flaky and the chicken seasoned perfectly. Mine was mildly spicy so I kicked it up a notch with some Sriracha sauce.

Good food and huge portions – if you want to taste some Filipino food, this would be one of the places to visit. Dining area offers plenty of space and parking is ample on the side street. When you go – try their Halo Halo and Kare Kare.
