Fork and Plough absolutely lived up to the hype. From start to finish, the food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding.

We kicked things off with the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. My wife enjoyed a skinny margarita that was refreshing and well balanced. For our starters, she had a fresh, well-composed salad, and I went with the pork belly paired with fried green tomatoes, topped with pimento cheese, an incredible combination that was rich, savory, and uniquely Southern in the best way.

For our main courses, I had the pork tenderloin, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, while my wife had the blackened shrimp, which was seasoned just right and absolutely delicious.

Dessert sealed the deal. We shared the poppy seed lemon cake, which was light and flavorful, and I also had the key lime pie; bright, tangy, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal.

The only minor critique I have is that the music in the bathroom was extremely loud. I understand the need for ambient music in the dining area, but it was a bit overwhelming in that space. That said, it’s nowhere near enough to take away a star.

Overall, Fork and Plough delivers across the board excellent food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend and definitely a place we’ll be returning to.

The drinks, food, and service were excellent. We had 4 people in our group with each ordering a different entrée and drink. Each was fresh and amazing flavor.

F&P has been on my list of local restaurants to visit- and when I saw their Restaurant Week menu, I decided to pull the trigger. With a reservation, we walked in and our table was ready. I did see parties waiting on seating throughout the night, however. Portion sizes were very generous for the price; $45 for a 3-course meal. Added on some amazing bread and a couple drinks at an extra charge. Apps included the pork belly and the tomato pie, entrees were chicken marsala and the short rib, and for desert we got the brownie and the cheesecake. Still dreaming about the marsala and short rib- would definitely go back again for either, and loved the apps as well. My only issues were not being greeted by the hostess, and not getting a very friendly energy from our server. Otherwise, food came out quickly and the atmosphere was great!

Great food! It was a little pricey but food was unique and very tasty. Farm to table. A very unique desert, too….raspberry lemonade pavlov. You won’t regret it!

Went for a lunch date after some light shopping and Fork and Plough did not disappoint. All locally sourced and the menu changes daily. Now…the House Eggrolls, with pineapple pico, was extremely good. We tried two desserts, the Chocolate Toffee Cake with tart cherries and cherry ice cream, a friend recommended I try, that was decadent. And the Holiday Shortbread with Whipped Apple Butter Cream was wonderful and festive.

Loved the farm to table experience @ F&P

FOOD> I gobbled up the burger made with ground beef, sautéed shiitake mushrooms, Swiss cheese, mustard aioli, and arugula. and house made fries. The burger was cooked medium well and melted in my mouth. I literally couldn’t put it down. The fries were so good that each last one was consumed! My one thought for next time is to perhaps order them without salt to fully enjoy their flavor.
The sweet tea was like a drop of golden summer sunshine

SERVICE> The sweetest Gal took care of us and she tended to our every need and made sure the lunch experience was unforgettable.
This is an understated elegant service style with seamless and effortless attention to detail for the unforgettable dining experience. Sort of like going to a real Southernern’s home for a meal – you always feel truly taken cared of and want to return soon for more of the goodness

ATMOSPHERE> While at first blush it can feel intimidating with the large room, the moment you are seated everyone else melts away and you either cozy up on the side porch, the welcoming bar, or the main dining area which is flanked by the deli cases with meat , dairy , and produce, and some MOUTHWATERING pastries and baked goods.

LOCATION> They are centrally located midtown Greenville on East North right near the Bob Jones area of town just minutes from downtown. You can easily get to this restaurant from 385 take the Stone Avenue exit or from Pleasantburg/Pelham Road turn towards town and it’s on the right.

I told the lil Gal next time I go I will probably need a plough or a bill wheelbarrow to take me home.

Enjoy!

I’ve eaten at Fork and Plough three times, each was absolutely delicious!! The food is like a flavor bomb in your mouth. Their menu changes 2x daily to accommodate the local foods that their receive. I would recommend making a reservation since they are so busy.

Fork and Plough also has a counter where you can purchase desserts, chicken pot pies and more. If you order in advance, you can pick up meatloaf, mashed potatoes and a veggie for your family on Mondays. I believe friend chicken is available on Wednesdays.

Fantastic all the way around. I dont give 5 stars often. It was my first time there and I hope its not the last. It would be great if there was a place on your website that directed the customers to somewhere that has a picture of the menu. I like to take my time deciding what I want. I couldn’t find a menu for that day and I was really wanting the chicken and waffles and it wasn’t available. The shrimp and grits were pretty spot on though.

Wife and I went on a Saturday. We had reservations, thankfully because it was very busy. Small space, cozy, very modern. Parking was a bit tight but there’s other lots nearby if theirs fills up.

The staff were great, very welcoming, efficient and attended the whole time. Even being busy we didn’t feel forgotten or like a hassle as some other places can be.

The drink options were very good, my wife got a Bloody Mary, I don’t even love Bloody Marys and I liked hers. Great wine and beer options as well.

The food was fan.tast.tic. Sooo good. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tons of flavor in every bite. I meant to take a photo but got so wrapped up eating I forgot!

The price was very reasonable, and it’s fun that they change the menu up frequently. We’lol definitely be coming back.
