With all of the great reviews given about this place, mine may be a little less than great. This establishment atmosphere is beautiful but the food did not meet my expectations. The calamari fell short on flavors, they maybe frozen from a bag. There wasn’t 1 squid on the plate, the brisket was surprisingly dry with a tasteless sause under it. The drinks was the best in the area, hands down. The lady bartender was friendly and knowledgeable, & made good drinks. Lol. The manager was walking around but only was interested in the table patrons, (we were at the bar). Not sure if I would eat here again, but for drinks, definitely when the lady bartender is serving, I actually love the calamari at the bar across from here.(no shade, just being honest).

Loved this place. Went with my partner and ordered an appetizer, mains, and drinks. Everything tasted great, portions were good, and the service was on point.
The ambience was cozy and warm, and the place looks really nice
Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely recommend Fork.

Cute little date spot. Staff were very friendly. Has a limited menu which in my opinion means they have to make each dish a quality one. Would come back. Ordered the short ribs and purple drink.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice and moody, perfect for a date night or hanging with friends. The music was at the right level to entertain and allow conversation. The staff greeted you warmly so that’s always nice.

The other reviews did not lie, the sushi pizza was really good and different. The lamb lollipops over lentils was delicious. The lamb juicy. Well we should have stopped there.

Ordered the Honey Lavender lemonade, that had zero hint of honey, I wasn’t expecting a heavy Lavender taste and they delivered on the. It tasted like seltzer water and sour lemons. It did look nice, so presentation was on point.

We also ordered salmon and short ribs – disappointing. Salmon slices are already on the small side and I still didn’t finish it. It was sadly overcooked and dry, like even after not eating all day I couldn’t finish it dry. The veggies were overcooked while the carrots was undercooked. The short ribs while tender had absolutely no flavor, NONE.

I don’t think I’ve ever given an establishment a 3 star, it really sucks because the ambiance was on point and so was the appetizers. Maybe they had a bad night because how do you mess up salmon so bad.

Fork has a greta brunch and lunch menu. You can pick from something lighter like breakfast dishes of the steak Frites or short rib. No matter what you pick, you will not be disappointed. Service and prices aren’t bad either.

I had a wonderful time there. The bartender Kamila was excellent. She made an amazing lemon drop martini and a pistachio martini that is to die for. The food was nice as well. I had the calamari and a side of french fries. The place is nice and cozy. Music is a little loud, but i still could have a conversation. Overall this place is definitely worth a try. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it’s a solid 8/10.
The atmosphere? A whole vibe. The space is beautiful with great energy, and the staff was warm and attentive from the start. You can tell they take pride in service. What I’m assuming was the manager even stopped by our table to check on us, which I always appreciate.

We ordered drinks and were served bread right away. The only hiccup was the wait for our food — it took close to an hour, which was a little annoying. Thankfully, the ambiance made it easy to settle in, and when my entrée arrived, it made up for the delay. I ordered the salmon with potatoes and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, well-cooked, and satisfying. I scraped my plate clean.

My husband ordered a clam sauce pasta. He didn’t love it as much as I loved mine. His feedback was that the clams weren’t as hot or as seasoned as they could’ve been. I tasted one and agreed, it needed a bit more heat and flavor. It wasn’t terrible, just not memorable. We also shared a lobster mac and cheese, which we’d give a 7/10. It was tasty, but we’ve definitely had better.

For drinks, we kept it cute with mocktails. I had a pear blend, and my husband ordered a berry one, his was the standout between the two.

We skipped dessert because I was full and ready to call it a night.

The best part? The restaurant delivers serious NYC Midtown/SoHo energy without actually having to go into the city. As someone who works in New York and grew up there, I love that vibe, but it felt so good to experience it right here in my neighborhood for date night.

If the food had come out faster, it would’ve been a total home run for me. Still, it’s not enough to keep us from going back.

From the moment we walked into Fork in Rahway, NJ, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between chic and relaxed stylish enough for a date night or celebration, yet welcoming enough for a laid-back dinner with friends. The interior has a warm, modern vibe that feels both sophisticated and comfortable.

The menu offers a terrific selection of American-leaning dishes that are both creative and satisfying. Highlights from our meal included flavorful appetizers and perfectly cooked mains.I especially loved the Lobster Bogavante.

Service was attentive and friendly, striking just the right note between professional and personable. The staff clearly knows the menu well and were happy to recommend favorites a huge plus when trying something new.

Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, or just craving a delicious meal paired with great drinks, Fork is a standout choice in the New Jersey dining scene. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back! ️

Looking back, I’m surprised by all the great reviews… our food experience was less than great. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food does not live up to the effort put into aesthetics. Calamari was average, short rib bao buns were just sweet in flavor and the carrot cake desert was so bad we sent it back (dry and refrigerated too long). The empanada… couldn’t taste the difference between the dough vs filling. Funny enough the thing we enjoyed the most was the Caesar salad.
